@@JonMercaltchannel-lp4cn Well, Anaxes (the planet where the base was located in TCW) was destroyed in some cataclysmic event, so all that remains of it now is the asteroid belt we see here in Rebels. Ahsoka was roughly 14 years old when she first showed up in Clone Wars. If i remember useless trivia correctly.....Sabine was about 17 at the start of this series.

There’s a certain scene in season one that shows the transition away from a kids show. Can’t wait till you see it. The next 3 eps are very good too! It’s about to kick into gear now!
The editing on this one is 10/10😂. If yall haven't caught on, the crew is a family with kanan and hera basically being the parents and the others like their kids, which kinda explains why Sabine was a little immature in this one. She's like the rebellious child
to be fair rebels implies by nature they don't default to following a command structure, that was Axis whole challenge assembling the Rebellion to begin with, just like Narkina 5 you have to awesome outlaws and outliers in the mix
Chopper is loaded with attitude lol. Dave Filoni once said about comparing Chopper and R2, "If R2 is a dog, Chopper is a cat." Fans couldn't help but love him and he becomes everybody's favorite war criminal.
About the fuel thing, they don't necessarily have perfect data readings. I mean for example, on Empire Strikes Back, the issue with the Millennium Falcon was so mundane that it's really stupid that no one noticed it. The issue was quite simply: a faulty wire connection. You'd think that Han who has modified and customised that ship for years and knows it so intimately that he knows laser blasts from actual solid impacts, would be able to notice a faulty wire, right? So no, I don't think their gauges warn them of a fuel leak; only when fuel is low.
A fun fact this is the first time we saw this clone base and the second time was in the first couple episodes of the final season of the clone wars, it's cool that they decided to revisit it and show it when it was actually in use and functioning during the clone wars.
The biggest tragedy ever was Jason Isaacs said many times he would love to play the Live Action version of the Grande Inquisitor if it ever happened. And then it did aaaaand they didn't even ask him.
With four seasons of content, one might reasonably assume that Kanan's and Ezra's respective skill and confidence levels, especially in relation to the Inquisitor, would constitute a significant part of character and plot development. It's kinda part of the point, right now, that they are not at all ready to truly face off with the Inquisitor!
Something about the original McQuarrie concept art is that it is not just the characters, also the environments, you can just pause at pretty much any shot that shows ships or general environment and you will get an amazing wallpaper. Also Chopper is absolutely different to R2, let's just say that, in the words of Pablo Hidalgo: R2 is like a dog, but Chopper is more like a cat*. *: Not just any cat, but if a cat could be a war criminal, that would describe Chopper.
Kanan and Ezra were lucky. Anything lacking a hyperdrive that detaches from a ship in hyperspace typically suffers one of two fates: it is stuck in hyperspace for the rest of eternity or gets atomized. (If I remember correctly)
Without naming names, there are some younger versions of some characters in The Bad Batch. Kanan is voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr. Fulcrum is the codename used by different people, starting with Saw Guerrera.
There IA actually a chain of command but it's strange. The ship is Hera's, but she's Spectre 2. Kanan is Spectre 1, meaning he's in overall command. That being said, they aren't exactly a full fledged military. They're a small celled militia group. Even the rebellion as a whole isn't anywhere near as strictly military focused as the Empire. Not exactly sure what it is that you have the issue with though Holden. This crew aren't soldiers, they're smugglers and pirates.
Chopper is basically a veteran with PTSD (they don’t make it clear in the show but once you know you can notice it). Kanan (again not a spoiler from the show) went down a deep hole after surviving order 66, shutting himself off from the force and eventually becoming an alcoholic living in the gutter. Hera found him and pulled him out of it. Sabine has good reason for her lack of trust…… but we won’t spoil that.
Regarding your complaints on Filler Episodes, after having rewatched the show myself, I only found there to be only ONE Filler Episode in the entire show. Only one. Every other episode is called back on or connects to the bigger plot at hand. Now here's the irony, that one filller episode? Well, supposedly it will tie into the Ahsoka show. After all these years we'll finally see specific elements from that episode make a return. Now what episode is that you may wonder? Season 2, Episode 7 Wings of the Master. Supposedly a character introduced and who appeared only in that episode and never again makes a return in Ahsoka. Which is nothing new as alot of the star wars whether live action and other animated ones will bring back long forgotten characters or plots which is a good thing as it ties it all together and makes it feel more grand and important.
