- How Social Security is failing
In this video, we're discussing some of the details out of the annual Social Security board of trustees report that was released a few days ago. As a result of this report, we can clearly see that Social Security has significant amounts of funding right now for the beneficiaries, but it is running out of money slowly and in roughly a decade, the Social Security fund will be completely empty unless the program is reformed in a major way. In this video, we are talking about how Social Security as a whole is failing the program may not be serving the beneficiaries  in about 10 years. We are always talking about money, benefits, Social Security, SSDI, SSI, Social Security checks, social security check increase, SSDI check increase, SSI check increase and any new bills packages or proposals to reform Social Security and change Social Security benefit checks for millions of beneficiaries. this is in regards to the annual Social Security board of trustees report and the finances of Social Security that were just released a few days ago.

My friend Frank died at 59. My friend Carlyn died at 49. My friend Cathy died at 62. What happens to all the money they paid in to social security throughout their work history? The government just takes it and keeps it???

It seems horribly unfair to me that the government takes money for social security all your life but if you die without children before retirement age the government KEEPS those funds. Who made that rule?????
Many people back when I was young Retired at 40. There's Someone I know that retired around 40,'s and He is just 4 years older then me.
There gonna keep failing the beneficiaries. Until they raise the $ to the federal property line. Poverty program anyways
FICA tax rate hasn't changed since 1990, but we've added millions of beneficiaries, 1.7 million are over 90 years old, 10,000 are over 100.

I've known many people who died before they could get SS, with no dependents. Lot more died during 2020 than usual, too. They should have more than they're saying they have.

People don't stop and think the back in the 40s and 50s and 60s peopn't make the money they make now a waitress didn't make $9 or $10 an hour they had their struggles too and they worked for their family not for a bunch of expensive toys so therefore they didn't get much paid in cuz I didn't make as much
