Write everything down and make 80 drawings showing everything you can possible ever need. Build the pond, sit back and enjoy the fish with a nice cold beer and notice immediately everything you missed. 😂
Good bit of advise I wish I had planned my build I have a bottom drain but the small one I’m going to extend my pond and put the 4” drain in. Going to have a look at the cost of fibreglass but might have to liner it due to the cost. Good to see you back and your new pond looks boss.
Great advice Dave been keeping Koi over 20 years all dun what you have said my pond now 7000 gallon in ground I want be making it any bigger 🤣 hope you're enjoying your pond with beer in hand you deserve it great job keep up good work 👍
Excellent advice. I've had 6 ponds/rebuilds over time, I've made every mistake going. If I'd had this advice I'd have wasted a lot less money and had a lot less grief.

if you canrt have a bottom drain defo go retro bottom drain my pond has improved massively through a retro than a pumb in the pond
