DUI Squad Radar as immersive gameplay?
Maybe the definition of immersive is different for you, but for me thats the feel for realism, no indication of it being a game, no intrusive hud elements, it being movie like.
A big radar on the bottom of your screen and nametags floating around isnt really immersive imo.
VileHUD Milsim Edit is a mod i would recommend for immersion, with a press of a button you can remove all hud elements, and if you need it just press the button again.
People have different meanings for Immersion some want realism like yourself and others want to play the game but get immersed but not sacrifice the hud elements.
At that I think DUI Squad Radar is perfect for those who are starting out especially in Arma 3 as it's not hard to use or set up. But at the end of the day people have different interpertations of Immersive gameplay with or without the MilSim aspect.

@@JamesH97Gaming Radar isn't immersion. It's arcade mode, which is the opposite of immersion.
@@shade9272 When I say immersion I mean it for the gameplay aspect and if you want no HUD or Radar that's fine but theirs different types of immersion. Others want MilSim with no HUD elements or Radar while others play MilSim with HUD elements or Radar on.
Just because it seems arcadey to you doesn't mean it's not immersive for others.
