Polka is such an interesting character, I can't wait to meet her properly in the game's story! ALSO, ive seen quite a fair share of genshin videos referencing star rail but this is the first time ive seen a star rail lore video that references genshin, which i thought it was funny! Amazing video, i really enjoyed it! 👏
It is very interesting that Polka believes that going into the unknown will lead to a premature Finality. Assuming this belief of hers is indeed correct, then what exactly is Finality that creating a Knowledge Singularity would speed up Finality’s Arrival? Isn’t Finality just moving at its own predestined speed? If it’s already known that it will travel at a certain point and finally meet the Present at an exact date, then Knowledge Singularities shouldn’t affect this, it should’ve already affected the travel time. The Finality Polka is speaking about cannot be an event that affects a world globally, after all, she hasn’t been doing anything to prevent Finality through any means other than eliminating the possibility of Knowledge Singularities. So it isn’t that she is against Premature Finality itself, she is simply against the Premature Finality that a Knowledge Singularity would cause … which seems to suggest that she’s aware of this exact Premature Finality. Polka has some level of awareness of this premature Finality, and wishes to prevent this one, and has been doing so for many Amber Eras, it really goes to show that Polka is heavily against this premature point of Finality, makes you question what it is exactly. If going past the Circle of Knowledge leads to redefining Knowledge itself, and this Knowledge Singularity leads to premature Finality, then redefining Knowledge leads to something Terrible happening, a premature Finality. … it feels like I just answered my question by repeating my question … My head cannot handle any more thinking beyond this point, so I’m just going to post this here as it is, if you have any questions … please ask them very carefully @-@
My guess is that this is one finality she can prevent and she knows what will happen if she doesn't because it's what Nous told her when she asked her question to them.
Finality is Time. Because Terminus goes backwards, and we go forwards, the faster we go forwards, the faster Finality gets to the present, because there will be less distance to go backwards with.
Polka's beliefs are, uh, how you say, wack? She believes that the future is predetermined and stops anything that could change this. Why? If it's all predetermined, why would you need to intervene? Nothing will change. She's making a self-fulfilling prophecy in my eyes; (her ability to manipulate probability isn't helping her case.
The way I see it Nous calculated a perfect outcome with the data he had, Polka makes sure to get rid of the numerous variables in the universe that could change this perfect outcome calculated by Nous such as the others Genius Society's members who could create new things, made a revolutionary discovery or drastically influencing the world in such a bad way which could ruined the perfect outcome. In other words she is getting rid of the imperfections of Nous calculation.
If you had perfect understanding of a predetermined future you would already know everything you will ever do. so every action Polka takes was always supposed to happen by her own understanding of reality.
@@whitewall2253She makes it clear she believes things can be changed hence her desire to reduce chaos. Which completely contradicts that idea. If everything is pre-determined it can't be changed.
@@whitewall2253 she didn't see a predetermined future, she believes in a predetermined future, what she saw was a perfect formula that would lead to the most ideal future, she eleminates chaotic variables that would affect that formula, but then there's the question, "if she believes in a predetermined future, why is she going out of her way to ensure this formula if she believes everything is predetermined?"
The universe of HSR does seem to be predetermined. Many of the Aeons ascended for reasons that are unpredictable and unfathomable. The universe contains countless extraordinary beings, but why is it that the Aeons ascended and not others? This leads me to believe that everything was set in stone from the beginning. Herta is no exception. Why is she the one who became a Genius and not someone else? Is it pure luck that she was born with a brain that 99.9999% of humans can’t match? I don’t think so. Still, this brings us to the paradox: if the universe is predetermined, then shouldn’t the actions of Rubert, Herta, and Polka also be predetermined? A premature Finality cannot happen. Even if it did happen, according to Polka’s logic, it would still be the end the universe was always destined to reach, not a premature one. Herta and Polka overestimate their importance. While they can positively or negatively impact planets and civilizations, claiming that they can cause or prevent the end of the universe is a significant exaggeration
@@LAHDL I don't think Polka would be able to kill Emanators. and Emanators are the strongest Aeon followers so I don't think Polka have any chance against Herta. Herta surely isn't stupid, if she knows that messing with Polka may kill her then she won't have tried laying a trap for her.
im gonna freak out the day polka kakkamonds drip marketing gets revealed

On release, people theorize she could be Himeko because of design simillarities, but rn that seems unlikely
The day we meet Polka in game is gonna be so interesting.

The best way to go about is thinking her action is similar to the TVA in the marvel universe and their sacred timeline

I know this is kind of unrelated, but isn’t an unstoppable force a force that can’t DECELERATE but can still ACCELERATE?
Damn genius society lore is interesting unfortunately I cant be asked to read SU dialogue 😭
polka might go after herta at this mind you herta talks to an aeon like it's nothing istg if herta dies im screwed
Herta got Nous on a speed dial.

Why is polka not threatening ruan mei she is trying to become a literal aeon
Because she is NOT a threat to the universe.
She is not. She could be, but that's not her goal. Also that just means Ruan Mei is not a threat to the universe.
Hiii
