Automatic HNT--DC Burn Is Gone

- Implicit burn is gone. That's just a fancy way of saying that you no longer AUTOMATICALLY burn HNT in your wallet if you need DC to do a transaction (like asserting location, changing antenna elevation/gain, or transferring a Hotspot). Simple fix: Burn HNT yourself. Super easy to do on the Black Helium wallet app.

How do you burn HNT to get DC?
So why would change location cost that much if anything at all ? Why helium blue app still alows process of changing the location for bobacat 300, it charges 5$ but doesnt change the location? Then the bobber app wants 10$ but it crashes and dont work! 1500$ for three miners more then a year latter in the wallet is barely 100$. This is not helium project but helium pyramid with helium crooks not developers all of it on top of suckers network not peopels network.
Hi Nex, I think you're mixing up what is happening. We just went through a giant transition with many complicated aspects. You should expect that things won't work normally, or the way they used to, for a while. That's not a pyramid scheme, and calling the developers "crooks" is not the way to get what you want.
For wallet tasks, you should only use the black app. Unless you have an OG Helium Hotspot or FreedomFi, the blue app is no longer working.
As far as earnings, they are heavily dependent on *where* your hotspot is, then on the "view" of your antenna. If you haven't earned much, it is very likely you're not in a valuable spot. There are exceptions to that, but it's generally true.
I think you'd be well served by attempting to understand what's going on with this project; that will help eliminate the fear, uncertainty, and doubt that you're experiencing.
What happens to the DC that sensors use? The hotspots that transfered the data would get the DC's used by sensors.
Same flow. Sensors send info, account owners (who own the sensors) pay for that info in DC. Hotspots that process that info are paid for that.

I don't think you ever earned DC, you just bought it with HNT. Did you have some in your wallet and no longer see it?

Should be able to do that inside your Console account. What's your goal with it? You can also use the MetSci Console if you just want to buy DC to use.

@@thegristleking got an email today. They said they need to burn HNT. Maybe by the end of the month. Wild that they are still selling miners, but you can’t onboard them. Super shady

It actually allows your miners to perform better, opens up the Helium ecosystem to tons of new developers, and makes all transactions much faster. It sounds like you're letting a personal bias get in the way of understanding a project.
No bias at all , ever since switch to Solana all earnings are lost and nothing works …. It’s simple as that … don’t act like I’m the only one … switch to sol made these miners junk
