    The L/R is :
Left/Right Channel Select. When set low, the microphone outputs its signal in the left channel
of the I²S frame. When set high, the microphone outputs its signal in the right channel.

This was an excellent and outstanding tutorial! The thoroughness was much appreciated. Question: I would like to make 2 of these lights and put one next to the left channel speaker, and the other next to the right channel speaker of my stereo system. I want both lights to show the identical effect simultaneously.(I am not trying to get the lights to react to the slightly different sounds coming out of each stereo speaker, however I would like the lights to react to the overall sound as if it was mono. To do this, should I use only one ESP32 and one microphone on one light and then split the data line to go to the other light which would have its own power supply? Or, should each light have its own ESP32 and microphone and then use the SYNC function in WLED - in this case I am concerned that each microphone would pick up slightly different sounds from its respective nearby speaker. Many thanks in advance for any help.

Great questions, and thanks for the thoughtful comments on my video. So to answer, and this is just the way I would do it.. I had actually thought about this scenario before. I don't think the Sync option syncs the music effect. I believe it just the light pallette and effects. So personally if I wanted to do what you're looking to achieve. I'd place the esp32 and mic somewhere in the middle of your stereo, to capture audio from both channels evenly, then run a data line off the esp32 to both lights. The power I'd run to the esp32 and then break it out to both lights, it would be a sort of power injection. As both lights would be of even brightness. If you only have about 30 lights in each strip you wouldn't need too much of heavy duty power supply. Hope this helps. If I can answer anything else please feel free to comment back. Don't forget to like and share the vid! With the holidays coming up I can see many different applications for this setup!! Cheers!
