Stakes for wooden halloween DIY decorations! Use 6. 😉 I had been watching some wood tombstone tutorials and all the ones I saw gloss over making the stakes. Great video! Love that you provide options.
So helpful to see this, although I'm please to say with help from my son we cut points (by hand-phew) - needed more today so looked at my mitre saw and thought there must be a way - couldn't work it out - hahaha so pleased you showed this option here and I came across it now. Thanks for sharing
HI what do you have your miter saw set at? I tried cutting some today at 45 on mine i found the center point but had trouble after that on how far down the wood to go thank you
I don't have a setting documented. Just a bit of trial and error, I am afraid. I also didn't worry about it too much for my purposes because I was going to be pounding it into the ground.
Thank you. I needed this video.
Glad it was helpful!

Miter saw approach is clutch. Mine are always uneven. Exactly what I was looking for
Thank you! Glad it was helpful.
Thanks bro . ✌️

Going to make some for signs
That's great. So many ways to use this simple project.
Great video. I am going to try with the miter box it seems this is the least expensive for my budget
That will work!
What dimensions are expected. 1"×2"? Or 3/4"×1.5"?
Well, I called it a 1x2 but the dimensions are really 3/4inch x 1.5 inch. However, make them from whatever you have.
Thank you

Thank you for the good ideas. I think the new neighbors are vampires.🧛 and I need to make some yard signs.
Don't forget the garlic!
