I’ve heard that camera view at 8:55 called “Up the line.” 👍🏼 Thank you Eric and team. You say helpful things I’ve not heard anyone else say (heel line, soft arm rotating/folding post impact, arms & hands work “in and up”). I tend to be tight after impact which feels like I’m steering. You are so generous to offer your knowledge to help all of us. May your channel and business (in-person and online lessons) continue to grow! - Rob
I have second problem dragon handle going out to right, getting better with irons but really struggling to get right with driver I’ll hopefully these drills will help. Thx
Watched this video last night. I bring club too much inside and then too far out on downswing.couldnt wait to try this today. It felt miles outside on way back and i was certain i would slice .contact felt great , no snap hooks and i had a balanced finish only swing thought was over my back heel then over front heel.i felt like the confident full swing balanced golfer i normally watch
Got some great information here mate! I tried your tip about swing more left and having my body facing the target in the follow through, seems to be giving me more consistency!
What bozo gave a thumbs down ? I mean , really ?? If you don't like a video, move on down the road... Anon haters should mature.... Good tips given by this man
I made one using an adjustable flag pole mount I got on Amazon ... which is attached to a rectangle wooden base that has a 10lb weight inserted in the top ... you will have to retro fit the 1 inch tube to accommodate an alignment stick, I just used round foam that you can find in the electric section at the hardware store ... here is the mount I bought ... images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51XSkJmGpZL._SL1200_.jpg
Eric, thanks for this lesson...very simple, yet necessary for consistency...at least in my case. Awesome explanation, and visual help with simple and inexpensive props. I can do this pretty good when I'm not trying to hit a full shot...3/4 shots etc...seem easier...Full shots are a different matter...perhaps years of the slightly out to in path take quite a task to get rid of....especially in Tournament play. Thanks for posting.
This is exactly my problem is that is do not turn on the follow through and my arms breakdown. Trying to get my shoulders facing the target helps me open up and finish low. Thanks
I'm confused on how to rotate to the left when I need to swing more to the right for over the top fix. Im the golfer that needs to swing more out to the right but follow through gets very collapsed feeling like if I dont continue to turn chest.
Hey! Well you likely should not be trying to do those both at the same time. Thats like trying to pass 2nd grade and 3rd grade the same year. You should train swing direction FIRST....THEN once thats easy you shift focus to turn It should work in phases like this th-cam.com/video/cARt8BnwYW8/w-d-xo.html
@@CogornoGolf Thanks dude! Its really great that you answer your comments and that your responses are actually helpful. Its what separates you and makes you the best.
I been swinging inside to out for many years and I've tried to swing more to the left to equalize my follow through with my back swing. This causes me to hit it left on many occasions is it because I am releasing too early ? Do I need to change my strong grip ? The more I'm swinging to the left the more I'm trying to hold off my finish which prevents me to ever getting it back to parallel to my plane.
Takes some, Colby but for sure do-able. You may need more time, or exaggeration or different feels/cues! If you dont get it sorted check out www.cogornogolf.com so I can see your swing Im sure I can help
Now that is definitely where I suffer with my lead arm folding too early through impact , I now have my three key things I will work on hands through impact & turn & balance !!! I am now going into my Instagram and TH-cam to unfollowed everybody else LOL so my mind doesn’t get clogged up haha thanks Eric

The sound effect for graphics appearing and disappearing had me thinking I was having some new type of weird hiccup. I didn't figure that out nearly to the end of the vid. Nonetheless very good instruction.
If you don't know where you're going how do you know how to get there? Maybe golfers should learn a good finish first then how to get to impact. Everything else may fall into place?
All else equal more left exit more change for fade/slice....yes..... All depends on the face angle.....and how far left you ACTUALLY GO Someone who slices should be squaring face FIRST then path more right SECOND
Thanks for the feedback, Robert. If we determine we don't like them, we will get rid of them. Playing around with some new things...will see how it goes!

Thanks, Rob! I really appreciate the kind words my friend! I'm glad you've enjoyed the videos!
Great drill and explanation, the face on view was much more eye opening! Makes much more sense seeing it from that angle with the reasons.
Thank you, Jim!
As usual, a fabulous lesson. I play your lessons while I practice in my living room with my Spornia net! Thank you!
Happy to help!
Nice video. I liked the exit through swing part a lot!

Great video like the explanation. On how you do the work station.
Thanks, Rick!
Sometimes I realize I have to explain to stations better for them to be effective. I will work on being better at that.
Great lesson Eric, right on the money again and a must position to complete the steps required for a good golf swing. Cheers
Thanks, man! Appreciate ya...hope you had a good holiday season!
Absolutely nailed the points! Love your videos on these fundamentals!

I have been known to accidentally click the down, not on this occasion, but it is possible, and you can't undo it that I can see.
:)
Eric, the base that is holding the alignment rod and noodle in this video, where can one get that?

You can get different plane sticks....you could just put an alignment rod through the bucket
