Hi mate,l just done the same thing but the strips don’t work for some reason,it’s there any fuse for the strips?l just plug them in and turn the door light on but still not working
They are LED. If only one side works, try plugging the non working side to other side. If it lights up, you have a wiring issue. I’ve heard of certain years where the ground isn’t wired to the door pin switch.
@@TunerwithKids 2008. But i found out why. Some models have the wiring, but it won't light up. The white wire would need to get wired to the door button on the pillar. Bit of rework on the original wiring, but manageable.
Yes need to check if you have the plug. Some have plug on one side but not other. But plug isn’t wired, those usually need a ground and people tap the door switch in B pillar to activate. They also run the power across and use the other door pin for ground.

Search club Lexus, it was a minor issue on some years of the build where the ground wire wasn’t connected. People ended up running a new ground to the plug. It was common on some ISF owners too.

I had this problem as well you have to turn on the automatic interior lights on when you open the door for them to work

can you just switch out the bulbs on these? my 08 has these and passenger side lights up but not the driver side.

Test it on the other side and see if it’s a wiring issue or bad LED on the panel.

Sounds like a loose connection or something wrong with the door button. These are activated when door is open.
I got the exact same ones. But they dont light up. I pluged it in, interior lights are on but they dont work. Any advice?

Yea. Most guys online end up wiring the ground to the door switch. The 12V is there but ground wire isn’t.

I have these door sills but they don’t illuminate,any heads up or ways of checking if the bulbs work? Thanks in advance
They make non illumination versions, make sure they have a plug. Check if the are plugged in? If you got 10-13 then it’s not Pre wired from factory.
