Now they have the exact same lights plus more modes and it’s all magnets w/wireless control thru your phone. Glad I waited
Nice. Looks like I need to update mine.
Thank you for this awesome Tutorial I have installed it as well on my 2019 Pilot EX_L they look amazing
That surprise quarter was hilarious lol
Man, you murdered your Pilot from top down, side to side. 😂. I will this mod to my 2022. Thanks for sharing!
I like this mod. 👌
Call it old school but I still maintain ops check the installation BEFORE final fitment. Place a piece of painters or masking tape to hold the placement while the wiring is done. The 3M adhesive sticky tape should be removed LAST then press the sill plate to the door sill and press down firmly.
Aside from that great video and thanks. Getting ready to tackle the project soon. Although the vehicle will be different the concept and procedures should be the same.
Great video!
Thanks
good work my dude
Thanks bro
They look dope at night my dude!!
Great Video man!👍
Thanks
Very cool. Good video.
Thanks
Nice 👍🏾
I prefer steady lights more but they look good
Awesome and detailed install, would i be able to tap my underglows to those so it can act as a door/welcome light?
Yes. That's how I have my underglows connected. I also added a switch in case I want to turn it on without the doors being opened or when the car is off.
Sick
This looks really nice. How can I get the same dynamic illuminated door sills?
I got these awhile ago. it looks like manufacturers moved to wireless charged via usb. amzn.to/3VSYCiL
your my guy
Hey thanks for the vid. I have a 2011 buick regal. Do every car have the 2pin plug ins?
Not all vehicles have this 2 pin harness
Thanks
The harnesses that you tapped into , are these just sitting there for you to use for any accessories? Like were they factory installed and readily avail to freely tap into ?
Reason I ask I have a 2009 Armada LE was wondering if it’s the same kinda deal on finding these harnesses to tap into ! Thanks for the clarification
Yes. This harness was readily available. I can't speak for the Armada but in the Pilot it is.
@@AutoSensation ok thanks you , could you source the Amazon seller from which you ordered yours ? Thank you
Can't seem to find the seller. I search again tomorrow and let you know
Can you just tap them to the door sensor, so when you open the door they turn on and when you close it they turn off? Don't they all turn onn even when only one door is open?
I'm pretty sure you can tap into the door.
How do you know when it’s done charging with USB?
Amazon link does not work anymore. Any way to get same order as you did in Blue? Looks awesome!
Any idea?
Do you manufacture and sell such lighting or is it just an assembly demonstration?
No. I'm not a seller or manufacturer. I just create videos as I install them on my cars.
Are those oem ? Coz it's hard to believe honda would have you do it like that splicing wires and shit.
Do they make these without having to do all the wiring? Just wondering 🤔
Yes they do. amzn.to/3YuYBE5
Yup
Mine came with USB charging cords…so how long are they charging for? And mine were lighting up just separating the strips out of the packing. And there are NO instructions with mine
Charging time is a bout 30 mins
Hello, can I use the 6pin socket instead of the 3pin one as the power supply if my plug is 3pin?
Yes. Just connect to two wires. power and ground
Can you put the light on steady mode?
Unfortunately No
U SHOULD OF GOT CLOSER TO THE RUBBER SO U DONT SEE THE WIRES ANY WAY NICE JOB
Yeah. After it was done I did realize I should have done that. But no biggie
by any chance you know the color of the positive and negative just blow the glove box? =D
Sorry. I don't know of the top of my head.
@@AutoSensation no problem thank you =D
Is there a setting where they just stay lit constantly and not wave?
Unfortunately no. If you want the static light the OEM ones just stay lit.
Right, not crazy about that disco look.
Phenomenal work !🤌🏽
Thanks
do they stay on all the time or they turn off when you shut the door?
They shut off when the door is shut.
@@AutoSensation , i have a 2016 touring. I assume my pilot has those two pin harness?!
@@avieneronisemuli849 Yes. I believe they do because the have the OEM illuminated door sills for that year and trim level.
i appreciate your help! more power to you bro!
@@avieneronisemuli849 Anytime. Good luck on your install.
where can i get the led door sill for the honda pilot 2016
Nice look but not so easy install👍
The hardest part was the wiring. Pulling out the panels and placing them back was easy. Squeezing your hand in tight places to get the the wire was hard.
Product link on the description.
Your led light is sold there
Sold where?

A lot of work for some lights lol
dude took apart the whole car
I know wow, he doesn't know they sell the rechargeable ones now, plus you have more color and options with the light
I dont really understand your guideline bro. You need to show it by step by step how you wiring it.😔😓😪

Looking cool is very subjective. Looks like crap to me.
Why do people instal their sills to wear it doesn’t even protect the edge🤦♂️ so dumb
Dude, just shave your head
