Alcohol and cigarettes addiction actually destroyed my life. I could remember several years ago after divorce with my wife which brought me into my disastrous journey on Alcohol and cigarettes. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.
I'm so very happy for you, Psilocybin is absolutely amazing, the way it shows you things, the way it teaches you things. I can not believe our world and our people shows less interest about it's helpfulness to humanity. It's love. The mushrooms heals people by showing the truth, it would be so beneficial for so many people, especially politicians and the rich who have lost their way and every other persons out there.

Damn. I have been partying my whole life. 1964, born, listening to a radio. It played night and day. Crying with Conway Twitty and Loretta Lyn. Or mournful with Nights in White Satin. Carried along while Led Zeppelin played Stairway at 300 in the morning and I was awake. And listened to the whole darn thing. Blood, Sweat, and tears? Oh yeah. All of these songs are so powerful. And remember they didn't stop there. Ram Jam. Pat benetar. Def leopard. Nobody's fool. Cinderella. Nickleback. ...damn I obviously love the screaming my emotions stuff. Well. Their emotions but damn I get it.
Brad may not have invented having a good time, but he's sure got a handle on how to make everybody around him have one! He's got so many great songs that resonate with people on such a fun level, it's almost not fair. :)

This song is so clever if you think about it. It's a drinking song that tells you the negative effects of alcohol. I don't really know why it's clever, I'm a bit buzzed myself.
True. It IS clever, though. Or ironic, at the very least. I mean, they put warning labels on cigarette packets, where it clearly states how harmful it is to smoke, and yet people still read the labels, know the terrible effects, smoke the toxic cylinders, and repeat the process. Brad should write a song about that as well! Haha.

It's clever because it's sung from the perspective of booze, like the booze is singing about itself. Like the Bud Bowl commercials, where the beer bottles wore little football helmets and they were sliding around on the field, juking, and tackling.
I have to say, smoking pot and listening to Pink Floyd is a ton of fun. BUT... having one too many beers and blasting this song with a few friends may be even better.

Actually there are many other good beer drinking songs by Moe Bandy, Moe Bandy/Joe Stampley, Jimmy Buffette, and Merle Haggard. "The way I am", "Why am I drinking", "I'll stay here and drink", "Back to the barrooms again", "I don't want to sober up tonight" all by Merle Haggard. "Here Im' drunk again", "Barstool mountain" and "It took a long of drinking" all by Moe Bandy. "Drunk front", "Two beers away", "Drink, dance" all by Moe Bandy and Joe Stanpley. But my very favorite is "Why don't we get drunk and screw" by Jimmy Buffette. Look these song up and drink some beer while listening to them on TH-cam.

It is because it is so accurate, like researchers wrote it for him. It is very similar to Sympathy for the Devil, where the song is in 1st person and you have to guess who it is or what it is talking about. And you get it right away in both songs, but the 1st person, like "guess who i am" way it is written is very clever and all lines accurate.
