akai headrush, AER acoustic amplifier, david guscott carbon fibre electric violin......go the line6, never used one but have heard great things about 'em
@loui0008 it is a 5 string carbon fibre violin made by queensland maker David Guscott. google Guscott violins and you'll be able to find the link to the website and order in person or hopefully on line. it is a great violin, my fav for sure.
when you did the legato part, some of it sounded kinda like that asian violin (im not sure what the name is). but ive heard their music uses a bunch of five note scales so im not really surprized.
This is so interesting! So I have a question about your instrument. First of all, I'm assuming the 5 strings are the 5 collective viola and violin strings, C-E right? Second, I'm hearing your instrument playing an octave lower than normally. Kind of like a cello with a high e string. Is this an effect that you put on it or does the instrument actually sound like that? And if so, how do you get such a low tone for something with such a small neck scale length?? The strings aren't that thick.
I like your videos simple clear melodic I must try on my violin .. Thank you Sir
excellent lesson!
