ALL the notes available in 1st position - hilarious how tricky it can be - once I get better at that, I'll be back for the next step and this video will be rewatched several times, I'm sure!

I learned playing violin in a very amateur manner from youtube videos. I can play the easy songs and unable understand your videos completely. What do you suggest and also thanks for this wonderful channel.
Do you have a lesson in improvision using the chord notes within each chord change to build the improvised solo. I thank you for all you do for fiddling . Mike
@@TheFiddleChannel How about something simple like Red Wing in G major ,it has one or two accidental chords . It could be used as a template by fiddlers for other tunes. Thanks again and especially for this answer. Truman
