This is just what I needed to hear after getting a rejected from a job the interviewer got me so emotionally involved! What's heart-breaking is that you cannot even ask them for feedback because they write from a no-reply email
Fresh grad. 170 applications, about 5-10 applications a week, constantly rejected, each says wonderful things about my background, and yet never give me a chance to interview. 98% are no replies, but keep your head high and keep pushing
Nah dont blame the victim. You may have the perfect resume and excellent interview skills and they go with someone else for other reasons.Human bias plays a big part.
I have been applying since 6-7 month to almost about 200-300 companies varying from MNCs to small startups, but never got a positive response from anyone 😢
"I'm always applying but never get to the interview; I always get rejected. I've fixed my resume 10,000 times. I did all the changes More then 3 years and no one except my application:(
This video sounds like something my recruiter, who sent me an email saying that I wasn't selected for the position I applied for, would record. It just states what went wrong with the rejected candidate rather than the employer. Not helpful at all
I just had my last interview yesterday and today I received an email that said they decided not move forward with me. I know I made it far, however, it’s hard not to think about why not? It was a sad day. 😢 I agree that it should be a good idea to request feedback, but they sent me an email that I’m not able to reply. This type of rejections make you think that they’re not interested to hear more from you again. I believe companies should provide to rejected candidates with the option request interview feedback. I personally suggest that it’s better to have practice mock interviews with a recruiter or someone that could give you a sincere feedback about your resume and interview. I wish everyone good luck! Let’s not give up 💪🏽
i applied for a job over a month ago and it has said "Application Under Review" for a month, i reached out to human rescources and they said it i didnt hear anything in a month to get back to them saying their recruiters are extemely busy. Im just guessing if i havent heard back in a month or seen a change int he status its a rejection. I will give them a few more days and it things dont change i will probably withdraw my application. I feel if they were interested they would have gotten back to me by now, so why waste my time with them?

Incredibly naive and patronising. Do you really believe companies that receive hundreds of applications for ONE position will take the time to provide feedback to a failed application? Get real.
They did get with the times. It's them who changed the times to what it is. They like to tell us how easy it was for them to get a job back when they got out of school and now they made it so that even a university degree is worth barely anything. They like to think they used to be superior in every way and that young people with university degrees nowadays are dumber than their peers who dropped out of highschool.

I don't give it a rat's ass about rejection, I continue to spam the company. I am shameless when it comes to job hunting

They need to figure out how to streamline the entire job interview process. Its these baby boomers. THEY ARE THE PROBLEM. GET WITH THE TIMES.
