What about the auditing and reporting whether it uses the DEM account?

We have an issue where we want to block personal device enrollment but when we purchase new laptops they are not set up with autopilot from the supplier, so they are seen as personal devices via intune. We want the device owner to be the individual azure user the laptop is set up for. So is there an easy way to change the device owner? As we deploy different settings and apps to different user groups and we also like the device linked to users Office 365 account. Or would Autopilot be the way to go, so the device is marked as corporate when shipped from a supplier? Keep up the good work, love the guides.

Hi Techy fellows, ¿exist any difference or limitation if you enroll the device through Azure AD Joined (as you showed) instead of Azure AD registered? ... considering that you are doing the process with a local account and the device is in a WorkGroup.

What about a case where the user is not a local admin. How does one go about enrolling to intune?

With out local admin, manual enrollment is not possible, you can use Windows auto-pilot standard user deployment.

Great tutorial. Thanks for the Video.
    Questions:
    1. OOBE - out of box experience - does that mean if you have Device Enrolment Mangers - you have to firstly enroll device with the approved account and then enrolled with the end user account who has correct settings and rights such as applications to be install, GPO applied etc?
    2. If Yes (Q1) does enrollment account needs to be member of any specific groups or not?

No, you have use DEM account just to enroll the device, after that once the user will sign in with his/her account, they will get the respective scoped policies.
