時がたって見ても、電子音ピコピコなのにゴリゴリで。かっこいいでしかない。それなのに歌モノもいけるからいいよね、ギルガメは。もったいないなーほんと。
Why is it that bands like Metalica will never die, but bands like girugamesh are only here for a short time. God it's unfair. I miss these guys so much.
Good point I think it has to do with the band or label that don’t want to break the US market. Because we all know that Dir en Grey could play for 1000 or 2000 let alone if they wanted to be an open for someone. They don’t do they so they play 300-500 capacity
Short time? They formed end 90ies, disbanded in 2016 and maybe reunited this year. That's quite long for modern bands

I will always love Girugamesh. It's 4AM and I have work in about 5 hours, but I am sitting here crying. As a teen, their music got me through so much...but I never got the chance to meet them or say thank you or anything.... Life is unfair.

Even though this was a beautiful farewell concert, I think no fan would be mad if they decided to make a comeback... I miss them and it kinda breaks my heart I've never had the chance to see them Live :(
I recently had the chance to go see The GazettE Tour Final in Japan and had such an epic time. I watch this concert and feel the same way as you. I hope they do reunite eventually or at the very least do a MCR type reunion show.

Enishi is easily their most underappreciated song. It's one of their best lyrics, it's basically the heartfelt speech Satoshi holds summed up in one song lyric. The guitar and bassline are absolute killers in that song aswell. I love the brothers interaction during the intro aswell.
Girugamesh has solid rock riff, that why they was enjoyable.

I think they just closed that chapter for themselves you know. They been together for over 12 years, I guess they just had their own reasons.

"Is everyone having fun? Two months ago on 2nd May, we announced on social media that we have decided to disband. We thought that everyone would be shocked by the sudden announcement, but it was officially decided in the middle of a tour.
We were fumbling in preparation for the announcement. On the day we announced it, the tickets for today's show at Zepp DiverCity were quickly sold out. I'm deeply touched that all of you are still coming out here to see Girugamesh. Thank you so much for gathering here tonight.
Yesterday night I was wondering, what should I talk about today? What do I want to say? I thought hard about it. After all, the things that we hold on to, that I hold on to, are really simple. Girugamesh started in Ishikawa City in Chiba Prefecture. Drummer Ryo and guitarist Nii are siblings. Bassist Shuu is their childhood friend. I was a complete newcomer. Even so, we spent these 12 long years together.
One by one, we started to have fans, a management, and were surrounded by staff. From not having any friends (in the industry), we gradually made more. We felt like Girugamesh was growing bigger and bigger. All of that was for music. We started to have a responsibility.
We went through tough times, painful times and even annoying times. There were even times we members fought among ourselves. But more than that, we were able to see so many smiles from this stage. Even ourselves, I think we were able to show all of you our smiles too. It truly is a treasure. Thank you so much.
When I was in junior high school and high school, most of the time I didn't go to school and just played games at home. Life goals or the meaning of life, I didn't know what they were.
To be able to meet this band Girugamesh... Well, I won't say this when we go back to the dressing room but I'll say it now. These 12 years...for continuing to walk them together with me, thank you so much. My life goal and the meaning to my life, it's this band that gave them to me. And...I'm here thanks to all of you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.

Shuu released an electronic production demo (MR.8), understood that he was also preparing something with Keel (his other band), and launched a clothing line! Ryo, well besides dedicating to his channel, is a producer and is working with Lynch... Nii, not much is known (nothing), only that has been helping to Ryo... And Satoshi, really doesn't know anything... You know? I don't even know if he's alive... Well, it's just a saying, but seriously, there's no news of him for a long time, his social networking activities died after the last live... This is so painful, I miss him so much and I need him so much, just like all of them.
satoshi hasn't been active on social media... the last news i saw was his collab with tsukiukita? then nothing after that (T ^ T)

Namiko Furukawa Satoshi seemed to have a pretty private life even when he was in Girugamesh. Maybe he is just more concerned with his own life now. I do hope he sings again or does something. I miss them all too. They were my favorite band. :(

It's very true, Satoshi had a reserved personality as far as his private life, his family and others. I feel like he doesn'tt like to talk about it, it's understandable.
I remember that in the last interview they did to the guys, Satoshi confessed that he without the music is nobody and as Girugamesh was everything for him he probably will not go back to the music. Wow, I still remember that I started to cry when I read it, it really was painful. I also read that he, without singing, would be in his room locked up watching anime ... I regret this so much, I just need to know that he is happy, that he is well and that his beautiful smile lingers on his face, only that. Girugamesh helped me a lot in difficult times, especially Satoshi. At the moment I feel shattered.
