I genuinely think it says something about how dedicated Japanese people are to their work and passions I’ve seen Crystal Lake once and Crossfaith twice and seriously don’t think any band matches their energy and they always put on fantastic performances musically too

I keep coming back to this performance. The energy is so consistent. Ryo’s monstrous vocals performance. The drummer being insane the whole time. The tight and locked in guitars/bass. All the guys having mics to lay down more vocals. All around an A+ show. I miss Ryo but his new project is also pretty cool.
Going back on this beast and energetic live performance of Crystal Lake after hearing Ryo's departure from the band. Ryo will be missed definitely, especially on his energy on the stage
They did really amazing work with Ryo. I don't know if he can be replaced. But I will love to hear more new things with whoever the new singer is. But I will kick myself for not seeing Crystal Lake when they had this lineup.

Just read about Ryo's mental health struggles. Was hoping to see Crystal Lake come back when he was feeling well enough and slay some more festivals next year. I'm sad now that I won't get an opportunity to see CL and Ryo rip it like this.
I am late to the party with these guys, but growing up in Australia listening to Day of Contempt, Parkway Drive, IKTPQ....this band gives me that rush I haven't felt in a LONG time. Can't believe I missed them on their support of Polaris! LOVE CRYSTAL LAKE!

Can I just say - the filmography for this is absolutely incredible. Maybe some of the best I've ever seen from a live set. The DOF shots of the crowd going apeshit in the mosh are some of the most dynamic I've ever seen. Top fucking tier.
That performance of Apollo straight up brought me to tears, flippin phenomenal. When he goes to each side of the stage and not 1, not 2, but 3 people screaming their hearts out "you'll never take me under", the unity this represents was just beautiful.

These guys have the best energy live! When I saw them live in january 2019, I was mind blown by incredibly good they are. I cannot wait until they come back to the US and I'm ready to be in that pit again!!!
It hurts to watch this after hearing about him. I saw them open a show in a dive bar a few years ago, and it was one of the best live performances I've ever seen. I was supposed to see them with FFAK right as covid hit, so I never got to see them live again.
The mixing deserves mad respect! The drums are loud and crisp, the bass is beefy, Ryu's voice is powerful and the guitar tone is just heavenly! The backup vocals are also on a nice level.
This band is BEYOND brutal!! As performers, they do everything right from the first song, and the way the singer handled his mic going out was awesome. You could tell he was pissed, but he handled it professionally. Extremely impressive band! 🤘🤘🤘

The drums are loud and crisp, the bass is beefy, Ryu's voice is powerful and the guitar tone is just heavenly!
The backup vocals are also on a nice level.
Aeon and Prometheus are insane on this set. That moment when you feel proud for being a metalhead

This band is BEYOND brutal!! As performers, they do everything right from the first song, and the way the singer handled his mic going out was awesome. You could tell he was pissed, but he handled it professionally. Extremely impressive band! 🤘🤘🤘

Saw these guys in North Carolina back in January of 2019 opening for August Burns Red and had no clue who they were and they blew me away. Thankful I discovered them

Saw these guys at Into The Grave. Just popped into the festival when they were playing and regret I was not there from the beginning. What a sick amount of energy, and a great show they put up!
