My theory on this is simple. Every region/faction has a different take on Kindred. Kindred is the symbol of life and death point, blank, period and this is no different. Ambessa is on death's door and she goes through a very Noxian version of that. It seems that for Noxian's version of kindred those who fight on, and show a warrior's spirit are granted a second wind of sorts, and is reborn as a true warrior. Wolf in this depiction is ready to kill anyone who doesn't show signs of a warrior's true spirit, while Lamb is there to grant a rebirth of sorts to anyone who can rise to the challenge. This might be a one time thing for every true Noxian. To be reborn in death and be made a true warrior. P.S. Now im no Necrit which is why I eagerly wait on his take on this but this is my best guess.
If you accept Kindred you don’t suffer in death. If you don’t you face the wrath of the wolf. But this is more about Kindred showing Ambessa the future (like they did with Yasuo) and the hardship, torment and glory to come. Especially as she loses one or possibly both of her children.
My interpretation is that because of the wounds she has on this aftermath war scene (which is a very important Noxian invasion on the league lore) she sees the representation of the wolf/death is coming for her, somehow she fights to survive.. thats where we get all the trippy scenes of her battling, seeing herself on a throne willing to do anything to survive so the lamb intervenes, and marks the baby for death instead. She’s pregnant with Mel’s brother Kino, (Or Mel we don't know)who we learn in season 1, died after crossing a powerful man that means Kino saved her life but she couldn’t save his
@@SpookyRatLoL I though i might be Kino because he is older than her and seems like Ambessa is too young to alredy have another child, and Mel's powers don't seem to be coming from her, but from her golden pads some say that might be solari locket. But every interpretation is valid at this point ;)
@@SpookyRatLoL I'm pretty sure the light comes from her golden pads(might be some defense mechanism?), or it just might be the reflection of light from Jinx's rocket coming from outside. I don't deny the possibility of Mel having some kind of power but for me that is the last thing i would think about.
Ambessa was pregnant, she didn't give up on life for the sake of the child(The little lamb). The clip shows Katarina, Pantheon, Swain and Kindred (possibly skins)
Nah the lamb symbolises the innocence of ambessa (not connected with the baby). She was originally from shurima so this whole ritual thing was kind of a mix between dream and memory. She sacrificed the lamb (her innocence) in this for the power/resilience she got from wolve. The problem with the cinematic is that they put the skinline (fight against pantheon) in this and I think they confused a lot of people with that (they want to sell skins lol). But I agree that she prob didn't also want to die because of the baby (cut to the baby after the transformation).
@@anonym45 Maybe that's not Mel's brother that is mentioned in Arcane, but an unknown brother (or maybe Ambessa's first child) that got taken by Kindred instead of Ambessa
Here is mine theory. She is in a near death state and kindred came invited her to the place like Valhalla and the Pantheon was the tester to see if shes worth it to stay in Valhalla then she passed the test, but she realizes she still got a baby inside her, so she chose not to die and be part of Valhalla so she return to real world for her baby.
From childhood noxian soldiers sacrifice the ''peaceful death'' as shown in the shuriman scenes so the only option for them to struggle to survive. And essence of the lamb unifies with the wolf's shard so it represents they find peace in the struggle? I dont know that is what I understand.
The kindred are the representation of death, the lamb who offers a painless death to those who accepts their fate, and the wolf who hunts those who run from death. In noxian culture, they idolize the wolf bc they're warriors so they don't want to die a peaceful death, they want to battle until they die. She is on the blink of death so she saw the wolf and went to fight with it (the same thing in still here with tryndamere, he was in a domain with the kindred but fought for hus life) there she is fighting and since she didn't give up, she was worth of living, that's why the Pantheon she is fighting retreats and she goes to meet with lamb.
Her armor (somewhat, except for the headpiece) shown in this video is also gonna be her first skin part of the skin line "Chosen of the Wolf" along with Katarina, Pantheon and Swain?
As for the connection with Parthenon well in the clip we can see that she gains scars in her fight with him but Parthenon is the celestial aspect of war so the fight is just a metaphor of ambessa’s life she fought in countless battles and gained a number of scars but in the end she wasn’t strong enough and she had to sacrifice something important to her to stay alive her son ( maybe in the end scene when we see the glowing eyes of the unborn child it like her transmitting the taste of war to her son)
its the other way around, the baby was mel´s brother and he died as its told in arcane because kindred marked him in exchange of ambessa´s life, thats why the baby open his eyes with that shine, its the mark of kindred
@@franmorales6687 I saw the lamb and the statue as a parallel to Kino and the baby as Mel. The statue resembles a young child, and since she cries for it, I think it might represent her child. I could be her mourning her innocence but sge doesn't seem like someone who would mourn her innocence. Plus, the baby has golden eyes, which remind me of Mel's golden armor that shone in the cliffhanger. To me, it hints at Mel being alive in Season 2, but that's just how I interpret it.
@@darakorede2185 I thought the lamb represents her innocence which she abandoned in order to live the life of a wolf which Kindred reciprocated by giving her a respite, to me both of them refused to die a lamb's way especially that child, which wolf acknowledge.
