I think it would be almost impossible to do that with how the program for the olympics are now. she would have to run 9 days, every day a 400 meter and thats without counting the relays. I think the for the future remark also includes the program to change a bit to make it possible to do.

Have to admit, it's got to be kind of intimidating when a World Record holder says "my speeds never been this good". My take? This is all part of a larger plan to come back to the flat 400. If you look at all of the women who were close to that WR, they were ALL sub 22 200m runners. Of course, doesn't hurt that this will also translate to the 400H.

Technically not true. I thought the same thing but Salwa Eid Naser & Olha Bryzhina (who are both in the top 5 all-time) are not sub 22. Salwa’s 200 pb is 22.51 and Olha is 22.44. Salwa is of course the closest of any to those records. Looking at all of her times, she’s an interesting case. 🤔

She’s in the wrong event! I think her coach wants to make sure she’s a favorite for gold! She’s so strong, I believe she could best the other sprinters in the 200 meters, especially the Jamaicans.

That must mean she’s on birth control because I thought for sure she would be Prego after her honeymoon,,,But Femke Bol also has a boyfriend or a fiancé so I guess they’re all on birth control which over the years is detrimental
