@@user-lp1jw9bo5yIn the age of celebrity veneers, her teeth are very natural looking. They’re just really white, which is mainly genetic but can also be achieved through bleaching.
Have to admit, it's got to be kind of intimidating when a World Record holder says "my speeds never been this good". My take? This is all part of a larger plan to come back to the flat 400. If you look at all of the women who were close to that WR, they were ALL sub 22 200m runners. Of course, doesn't hurt that this will also translate to the 400H.

Technically not true. I thought the same thing but Salwa Eid Naser & Olha Bryzhina (who are both in the top 5 all-time) are not sub 22. Salwa’s 200 pb is 22.51 and Olha is 22.44. Salwa is of course the closest of any to those records. Looking at all of her times, she’s an interesting case. 🤔
Shericka Jackson, Elaine Thompson-Herah, Gabby Thonas and Abby Steiner are some of the current 200m athletes that have all run (a lot) faster than 22.07 in recent years. Yes, 22.07 is impressive, but to suggest it would give her a medal at the Olympics in Paris is just not realistic ...
I think she is going for the WR under 50 seconds in 400 hurdles this year and after that looking for break Marita Koch record in 400 dash 47.60 in 1985.
Of course, we'd all like to see a double but I guarantee she has two things on her mind for Paris: Back-2-Back Gold (rare air) and a sub-50! I believe both will happen in Paris!

She’s such a winner who is also good at letting me down. She’s probably the best female sprinter right now and we will never get to see it because of those pesky hurdles

I think it is reasonable to expect her to win 400 hurdles, 400 and 400 relay in Paris. But she does not want to do it. There is nothing you can do about that.
What? After her last time breaking the 400m hurdles record, I figured she would definitely go for 400 flat and clearly can challenge in the 200 as well. It's hard to go after 2 or 3 different events but it seems like a missed opportunity to do something unheard of.
She better be ready to run the fastest she has ever run. The entire Dutch national track and field team has poured everything they’ve got into beating her in Paris.😮
I feel Syd is different, DIFFERENT! I think she will break the hurdles record again, break the 400M record, step down to the 200M and break that, try to do the same in the 100M, then retire and have a baby. I see her as a family woman who wants kids quickly and to live out her fairytale.
To confine all that talent to one race is a shame. I get wanting to come back slowly after injury, but down the line, double in two of the three (400,400H, or maybe the 200.) She could go down as the greatest of all time, but not if she sticks to one event imo.
