Probably couldn’t bake a potato but your could fry up some potatoes or make some Au Gratin cheese potato’s. For a baked potato all you need is some aluminum foil. I like to slice the potato down the center, add some butter, bacon, onion, and cheese. Wrap that in foil and place it directly into some coals and cover with coals. 👍😃
Well ya! Of course everyone carry's cheese with them....don't they??? Chese abuse!!! Cheese abuse! There is a 10 second rule for cheese on the ground. Another great chees3 to carry is the Laughing Cow wedges. They dont need to be refrigerated. Another tip is to use a little bit of mayo on the outside of the bread. Browns up nice. I Secret Santa'd myself and got XL pie iron. I need to get it seasoned up. Maybe this week if it's not too cold. I can't wait to see what ya cook up next in your irons.
I got an XL too and need to get it seasoned. I have some plans for breakfast in the XL that I hope to try in the beginning of the year. Thanks for the tip on using Mayo on the outside of the bread. I am sure I have some Mayo packets in my hiking for stash.
New toy!! Looks delicious!
Thanks for sharing the video. I am curious, can you bake a potato in the irons? 😉

Do a French toast breakfast sandwich!
Great idea. I will add that to my pie iron meal list.
