- I Prevail performs their first show without clean vocalist Brian Burkheiser, who is recovering from surgery. The band decided not to cancel their upcoming shows, instead having Eric and Dylan take on Brian's vocal parts. This set included I Prevail's first performance of their Taylor Swift cover ("Blank Space") in more than four years, the live debut of their song "Visceral," and a live debut cover of "Head Like a Hole" by Nine Inch Nails.
This performance was in direct support of Staind during HOG Fest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at Fiserv Forum on May 3, 2024. It was recorded in 4K in the 1st row.

Most bands would cancel their shows if a member wasn’t available instead of replacing him for the part of the tour I’m glad they didn’t cancel
@@DeathCon666 yeah but thats mostly bc other member sin the band dont rlly have the skills to play the pther instruments most of the time but dylan can sing really well so they could still play theyve even done this b4 when brian had his 1st voccal injury but yeah its cool they didnt cancel
After seeing Gabe’s perspective this show is even more impressive
From crowd perspective, it's barely noticeable that they lost tracks during Body Bag. They held it together really well.
Okay, I'm going to say it Gabe Helguera is a criminally underrated drummer

Dylan needs to be featured more vocally in my opinion. Plus I love when a guitarist contributes vocally.
This might be a hot take, but I think I actually prefer Dylan's vocals.
@@hebimetaluro I agree honestly. His voice on here suits their songs a lot more to me. the only thing I would say is his voice started to deteriorate more as the concert went on but with practice he can get that under control easily.

people are really annoyed about them not rescheduling the tour, but personally i'm still looking forward to seeing them in 2 weeks. i think it'll make for a very unique show and i'm looking forward to seeing them with brian for the first time.
I saw Dropkicks without al barr and it was probably the best show I've ever seen.
I mean yeah it's sad that brian can't play too but I understand. I hope he's back on his feet and better than ever soon. Plus like yeah this is a unique once in a life time preformace. I'm kinda sad I can't see it 😂

Trust bro, i saw them in Hamburg last week without Brian. Last year i saw them in Hannover with Brian. Yes its sad that Brian is still not there. BUT, it was also insane without Brian. You will have a lot of fun, trust.

The only reason he wasn't is because he is recovering from a pretty severe surgery for Eagle Syndrome.

I've seen I Prevail 5 times, and the best show of theirs I ever saw was when Brian was out and Dylan filled In. Dylan is such a talented Vocalist
It's the preshow ritual y'all I'm TELLIN' you!! The fact you guys lost your ears during Body Bag and kept it solid till the end, shows how in tune you guys are with each other. Love it!

I just saw them Saturday in St. Paul and they killed it! Do I wish Brian made it? Of course. Was the show ruined? Hell no! We had so much fun. They were AMAZING.

Since I saw somebody crowdsurfing on Blank space during the first concert.... I had my mission for day two.

This isn’t the first time they toured without Brian. I saw them in 2017 without Brian because he had vocal surgery. This was when they toured with Escape The Fate, We Came As Romans, and The Word Alive

Honestly props to the screamer (honestly dunno his name sorry lol) for taking on the massive task of doing some of the cleans. That's gotta be tough to do if you have mainly trained, practiced, and dedicated to harsh vocals for so long. You can definitely tell that he's not experienced with the cleans, but that backup singer does him justice for sure. Respect for continuing without brian honestly.
