Awesome 🎉 This song is one of the most compelling and powerful songs I know. To me, it's about putting in blood sweat and tears into something, then an arrogant adversary comes and apposes you. But because you've put in the hard honest work, and your opposition is just fueled by ego, you demonstrate your value and put your opposition to shame (which is the inevitable consequence of pride).

Literally the first time I heard the song I said "oh they just loved the Doom soundtrack and wanted to do it with lyrics" haha turns out I was right.

That's a really interesting insight if you think about it.. Seeing cultural trends and musical breakthroughs, and watching them cascade throughout all of the music we listen to, it's so neat to observe. It's like watching the band play live, while also being the band itself. I said something similar haha! Praise be Mick Gordon!
Mick Gordon had huge influence on the metal scene. Hell he co produced BMTH's Post Human Survival Horror and it pretty much shaped the current trend of metal sound.

I've lost count of the number of times I ran through TRAUMA at the gym, let alone the amount of time I spent with TRUE POWER (and specifically Doomed) on repeat while working. Thank you guys for the auditory comfort blanket.
I Prevail has the perfect blend of simplicity blended over technicality. Easily my favorite band of new era and quickly becoming an all time fav!

What's weird is that Doom Eternal wasn't even out when the album came out, so this was more inspired by Doom 2016, super cool but I always though of 2016 as the more experimental synthy one and Eternal as the straight up heavy one. Also cool that they achieved that Mick Gordon style by doing the opposite of what he does, he's said he tries to avoid layering whenever possible, but what makes this song special is just layers on layers, and I love it.
Glad I got to see this. Bow Down is my favorite I Prevail song. Can’t wait to see them back in Minnesota

I love these breakdown videos! They showcase how much work goes into writing a song, which is hard for those of us outside the industry to comprehend. The thought and talent that goes into each layer is phenomenal and I love watching how the song grows and develops. I absolutely love your music but these videos give me an even deeper appreciation for the incredible talent that you each bring to every song. I also love that you’re such strong and powerful advocates around mental health issues.

I love this song so much it is my go to song wherever I am the gym, work, driving in my car, karaoke, or just jamming with my friends I can listen to this song all day and never get tired of it. The whole album is powerful in its own right to where I can listen to it and feel all the emotion and heart you guy put into it.

This was a really eye opening experience into the level of detail it takes to make a great song.
Songwriting of this band is exceptional. It has everything I love in a hard band. Screams, Heavy Guitars, Melodic Chorus .... this video really shows how thoughtful they are in producing a song.
