I have done this approach many times. Yes, very low to the water. Actually, you are under the water before landing on the runway. Very difficult approach indeed.

This is just a normal & regular landing in Bacolod Airport, Phils. before. 🇵🇭Phil. Pilots are the best in the world! Calm, careful & extremely disciplined. Sadly, they were always pirated by other countries for higher pay.
