its said that everyone is like "wow the original in high quailty" and "first video with english" hecause i remember back in 2017-2018 there would be whole ass episodes, some in dub, with 1080p and all that
well there were whole episodes of initial D and short scenes from the show all over youtube but then The Avex crisis happened and everything disapread due to huge amounts of copyright claims from Avex for the songs used in the show. Now finding a scene like this one in HQ and not a meme version is like finding the holy grail

@@yddxleo I assume he meant animation and not the story, and even in the 90s the Manga was still being written, they also just took a big turn the Project D arcs started.

Sad they never did a rematch between Keisuke and Takumi after the final stage. Woulda also been cool if the show ended with a race between takumi and bunta
Just go through the 700 chapters of the Initial D manga. You'll find it somewhere in there I think.

Would be cool but Keisuke mainly does uphill while Takumi does mainly downhill.
Would have to be a leveled road to see who is the best.
As Project D went on they've developed into different types of drivers.
Keisuke focused on lap timing and consistency. And he ends up a GT driver.
Takumi focused on full car control. And he becomes a rally driver. (MF Ghost)
yeah missed opportunity. In the last gathering of project D, Takumi brought Bunta’s Impreza since the 86 blew up. It’d be interesting how Keisuke woild fare against Takumi in the Impreza.
