This has become the best place to learn about tools, including tools that I didn't know about, and didn't know I needed! It's clear that you are passionate about tools, so thank you!
The level is also sold in the Netherlands, commonly the small ones are magnetic, and the bigger ones only the expensive ones. They are commonly used for metal building, the bottom part is extra flat to make sure you can do 1mm leveling on metal beams etc. (Torpedo level)
Gotta love a classic "Police Squad / Naked Gun" reference! The Eufy cameras seem really well / easy to set up! Great video as usual Jono, keep up the "hard" work! 😉
Greetings from Thailand. I bet you don't get many responses from here. You are so spoilt in the UK and Europe for DIY tools. Come here and see the meagre selection. That camera set looks epic. With all the sunshine we get here, that would work a treat. Spot the elephants breaking in to steal the bananas from the garden.
Love the self loading utility knife. Im still using one that I bought forty odd years ago with a hook type hinge at the end and a slotted screw fastener. Before retractable ones or a sheath to stop you cutting your hands to ribbons when delving into the cantilever toolbox.
Been using the Eufy doorbell camera for over a year now and it’s been an excellent piece of kit Those camera would be a great addition to my setup to keep check on my shed and cars on the driveway Also love the quirky tools Keep the videos coming the more the better 👍
I love how you don't just praise verything you get and buy, but also mention when products just doesn't work very well. Looking at you, Stanley saw.. thing :D
The French store looked very similar to a B & Q or Homebase but with the addition of Tool boxes. The Security camera though what a useful bit of tech. I am in the market for one of those as the door bell camera has a very limited range so was thinking of getting another system set up but it looks like this is a full comprehensive system which is great. thank you for choosing them as sponsors. Great show as always.
I have the Stanley saw and the hacksaw handle, had them for a few years, I think they were from B&Q, both have come in handy a handful of times for lightweight uses in awkward places. Got to agree that the Stanley saw isn’t the most user friendly, but I’ve still kept a hold of it.
hey Jona it's always so interesting to see unusual tools from different parts of the world, hope you keep the series up for a long time. also love the versatility of the security camera system
Camera set up looks easy which is a bonus for a oldie like me! I would use it to keep an eye out for pesky Herons raiding my garden pond. Great vid as normal.
A gimlet is essentially a tool used for pilot holes. They were extensively used when people were using hand drills and bits and braces etc. before we all used quick chucks etc on our electric/battery stuff. This is what people used for the pilot hole. Im still only in my 40's but was lucky enough to be taught by some real old school people, and still to this day, carry a gimlet in my tool belt. They are obviously quite small and dont take up much space in my rig, the amount of times they come in handy is remarkable. The amount of time they save in modern days if youre a distance away from your vehicle or similar or on a roof etc is fantastic. If you know what they're purpose is now, and given their size, i highly recommend putting one in your arsenal ?
Hi, i realy like the way tools fit in shadow foam I managed to get a piece from a friend to try and was delighted with how it transformed my small tool kit, also I was using my dads folding wooden ruler up till a few months ago it was about 75 years old but I left it on the floor and it got crushed I was mad at myself maybe if I had my shadow foam tool box then it would not have happened.
Great video as always especially the naked gun/police squad reference ☺️I honestly find these stores like an adult version of “toys r us” when I was a kid 😂
Jona's next live, lets put all of these Knives in foam and put them ina draw along side the Zollstocks, great video, like the Nail setter/punch, usful and takes up less space than a bigger set
Another classic tool haul video. I really love seeing new and different tools that I might not of ever seen without being a sub to your channel! Thanks
What la load of cool tools! I think the Naked Gun Music gave it away more for me, hehehe Those Eufy cameras, would be on my shopping list if I could afford one.
2 things I really liked, the Dimpler looks very handy as I'm guilty of using too much pressure on screws, and the camera setup. I have cctv that doesn't work too well due to the need to have a degree in double dutch for the setup instructions, (or maybe it's just me). That Eufy set up looks very easy to use.
I’ve had that two way Stanley nail setter for years now. And it remained unseen until today! I like it a lot, and use it regularly to set pin nails as well as small regular nails. It has held up well, no jamming.
Another great job Love the cameras definitely pretty cool and pretty smart. All the tools you got are amazing Keep. Up the great job appreciate all your hard work
Ive been looking at thar camera system recently myself. It does look decent. Always love a tool hunt video. Its great to see what you find! Another cracking vid.
Camera set looks very good. The app seems very well thought out. Stanley knife with the 3 blades ... Seems someone made a solution and waiting for a problem to use it on. Can't see the point either 😕 The Dimpler looks very nifty. Can see that being handy not just for plasterboard but plywood as well. Can see me buying one of those if I come across one. That hacksaw handle is handy ... I bet it is something that you could 3D print actually? The semi-automatic knife is a great design for someone who goes though loads of blades (maybe get a auto-loading scalpel for Shadowfoam cutting 😁). The other knife with the choice of locking blade or auto-retract is clever as well.
Great tool selection as always. Nice layout on shadow foam. I thought the best was the France made spirit level. it would be interesting to find out why the slope. Security light kit looked great, i would love to win a set, fingers crossed. Thanks till next time.
Great information re France. Currently working in Germany. , your channel introduced Bauhaus and Toom to me. Once our job moves into the French sites I now know where to go looking for various bits of hardware. Last zolstock I collected had Bauhaus Ingolstadt on it. 😀
The quick reloading utility knife really caught my attention. Definitely a number one for me. Regarding the cameras, isn’t it super easy to unscrew them and just… take? I guess they have to be somewhere out of reach?
Loving the videos as always ,I like the Stanley pin punch and the McKenzie utility knife ,the camera set looks very interesting mite have to look into one of those , keep the videos coming 👍
The full Police Squad! (in Color) homage really needs a rotating red light on the dashboard 😂 Also starring Jona as Abraham Lincoln Tonight’s episode - Tools of Death / Foam of Evil
Hi Jona from Bath, UK! Wow, those Eufy cameras look amazing with such useful security features and also the solar panels are a brilliant functional idea! Out of the tools the McKenzie knife is great and also the Facom screwdriver set looks great and ergonomic!
I recently became the equipment manager for a large construction company and I've been looking for ways to better organize my shop. I've been watching a lot of your videos and I really like the look of Shadow Foam. Unfortunately, the shipping cost to the US is just too much. I hope you're able to get an American distributor, because it looks like a great product but the shipping would cause a lot of people to look at cheap knockoffs.
This has become the best place to learn about tools, including tools that I didn't know about, and didn't know I needed! It's clear that you are passionate about tools, so thank you!
Love the homage to The Naked Gun movie opening sequence. Camera system looks amazing
Was humming it as I was driving 👍
Taken over by BOM
The level is also sold in the Netherlands, commonly the small ones are magnetic, and the bigger ones only the expensive ones. They are commonly used for metal building, the bottom part is extra flat to make sure you can do 1mm leveling on metal beams etc. (Torpedo level)
Those cameras would be perfect to protect my van on my street outside my home!!!❤
Gotta love a classic "Police Squad / Naked Gun" reference! The Eufy cameras seem really well / easy to set up! Great video as usual Jono, keep up the "hard" work! 😉
The Naked gun, classic😊
It absolutely is my friend!
Great tool hunt. Looking forward to your next set of quirky finds.
The cameras are awesome. If I won, I would keep them in view of my 10mm sockets so I know where they keep going. lol 😂 great video
😅
Hi Jona, how about a "Made in Sheffield" tools collection ? You may have to look in the antiques shops, unfortunately. Love the quirky tools !!
Funny you should say that, I’ve got the starting of a Sheffield steel tool collection in the works atm
Your enthusiasm for tools is nearly as good as mine. Keep finding the new ones please.

Had my eye on this camera system and been contemplating buying them, such clever technology. Free app use as well, perfect. 9:34
Love that camera set! These videos are brilliant - I am addicted 😅
Been using the Eufy doorbell camera for over a year now and it’s been an excellent piece of kit

Loving the naked gun reference. I am very jealous of all the tool shopping trips you have 😂
Aww I remember my dads gimle set. I'll be in Brico next week..😊 love Leroy merlin over there. Cameras are a good idea. Face recording how brilliant ..
I do like that McKenzie! Quite smart
I have the Stanley saw and the hacksaw handle, had them for a few years, I think they were from B&Q, both have come in handy a handful of times for lightweight uses in awkward places. Got to agree that the Stanley saw isn’t the most user friendly, but I’ve still kept a hold of it.
Love seeing all a quirky tools Jona, you've inspired me to always visit a local tool shop whenever I'm away. That Eufy kit looks absolutely amazing.
Let me know how you get on with your tool visits! 👍
Camera system looks amazing, perfect for my garage and home office. Can’t wait to visit France again as I’m a real Opinel fan boy.
Looks like a great camera system and easy to install. Great to see you review this in conjunction with your great tool / foam reviews.
Another great video, nice to see eufy come on-board with a give away. I have a set of their camera's for inside and they work well
Awesome camera kit. Go the Naked Gun, love those movie's
My favorite items are the Dimpler and the auto loading KWB utility knife.
I really appreciate how often you do giveaways, keep the content coming.
My pleasure, I love sharing my tool finds with as many of you guys as I can!
That camera set is awesome, loved the tools as always.
hey Jona it's always so interesting to see unusual tools from different parts of the world, hope you keep the series up for a long time. also love the versatility of the security camera system
I plan on doing that my friend!
That go on then dad joke made me laugh way harder than i thought i would
😅😅😅
Camera set up looks easy which is a bonus for a oldie like me! I would use it to keep an eye out for pesky Herons raiding my garden pond. Great vid as normal.
O whow what a great camera set and it allows you to set areas etc that is something I definitely need to protect my house and shed 😊
Love watching your videos and your shadow foam is brilliant for storing my air rifles

What material do you use it on?
It's for timber

Thanks for subbing mate, it's always appreciated!
Look forward to a utility knife episode. Don't forget all of the strange shape / specialist blades!
Camera kit looks very nice and very good quality 👍
0:54 French hammers are ever so slightly more fancy than they would need to be. I quite like those shapes.
Zollstock collection, the race to 100!
Cannot wait, one day I will hit 100!
What la load of cool tools! I think the Naked Gun Music gave it away more for me, hehehe Those Eufy cameras, would be on my shopping list if I could afford one.
Do love a bit of Naked Gun!
I’m a pit partial to a good utility knife myself, have far more than I need but still buy them whenever I see one that takes my fancy
You me both mate, love collecting utility knives 👍
Hi Jona. Love tool Friday.
The self reloading knife is just a smart idea
I love tool friday too, thanks for joining us!

I have cctv that doesn't work too well due to the need to have a degree in double dutch for the setup instructions, (or maybe it's just me). That Eufy set up looks very easy to use.
Both great points you are making there mate! 👍
The dimpler was the worst 18 euros I ever spent. It broke within literally 30min of use.🤦 the next day I bought a drywall drill.
Police squad ? 👏 😂
Camera system looks amazing 👍
Another great video. Plus the cameras would be handy in my new workshop
I have both the Stanley punch and one of the hacksaws, the hacksaw is great for awkward jobs and the punch has withstood a good hammering
Friday night, tool night 👍
What else would we be doing?
Those CCTVs do look easy to set up, enjoying the channel 👍
How strange! I’ve just been looking at those exact cameras lately! They look awesome!! Another great vid Jono 🎉
Those CCTV cameras look great. I haven't seen anything like that before, but I wouldn't mind getting a set.
Abit late to todays video but now i get to relax and tune in.
Hope you enjoy it mate!
Love the security cams! Useful to check weather at home where abroad or check basement for water. I like the quick reload knife.
Definitely want one of those reloading blade knives.
A top tool pickup to be sure! 👍
That Eufy gear looks awesome!
I love tools and especially the Stanley wooden tape measure, as a girl I loved the plane and also you have to leave it on the side
I must admit I don't have a lot of planes in my collection
@ShadowFoam I think you should do a vlog on wooden carpenters planes and pop into your foam
I’ve had that two way Stanley nail setter for years now. And it remained unseen until today! I like it a lot, and use it regularly to set pin nails as well as small regular nails. It has held up well, no jamming.
Very happy to hear that it has held up!
Another great job Love the cameras definitely pretty cool and pretty smart. All the tools you got are amazing Keep.

Them cameras are very impressive either way all the functions available!
I didn't even list all the features, I just listed my favourites!
Camera set looks very good. The app seems very well thought out.

I'd definitely recommend it!

The mini hacksaw I bought in the 80's from a 50p store on St Helens market!
The quick reloading utility knife really caught my attention. Definitely a number one for me. Regarding the cameras, isn’t it super easy to unscrew them and just… take? I guess they have to be somewhere out of reach?
Tres bien video Rodney, tres bien indeed.
