Thanks for the comment, glad you liked it! Hopefully more coming on the channel soon so keep an eye out for that 😀. In the meantime you could checkout my video on Custom Controls: th-cam.com/video/TFOk3nQ3o7w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=KwksAcwgzrjnoRaC It could be of interest?
Nicely done and explained. I see there were others commenting on the fast talking. Clarity was excellent, pace was ok, I tried listening at .75 which was all good too, but found the b/g music annoying. Unless b/g music is necessary, I find it mostly distracting in tutorials.
Thanks for the comment. I do understand what you mean with the background music. I think it does come down to what one of the other comments was saying about knowing whether what I'm making is a tutorial or engaging video. I've tried turning the music down in some of my later content instead of removing it, as I find It can make the video more watchable if you're watching it as a recommended video instead of a searched solution.
Hi. Love your channel! Question: Say I have a sequence of random numbers triggering the height of a rectangle. If I never want the height to fall to 0, and a 0 value did occur, how could I get the height to maintain the previous value until a higher value occurs using an expression? I’ve tried - iif(Input1 == 0, self[-1], Input1) - But it doesn’t recognise the ‘self’ command. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
Maybe I misunderstand the situation, however I would have thought the best option is to have the random number generator's range not include 0 so there is no need for this iif statement? Otherwise, look at the highlighted section in this article here, as it may help sorting this: billjustice.com/fusion_expressions_cheat_sheet#:~:text=Text1.Output.Height-,Node%3AGetValue(),-Returns%20a%20property
Hi. Yes, I simplified the issue a little. I’m actually working with midi files and have built a saxophone fingering diagram generator. It works perfectly, but I want the previous diagram to remain onscreen when there’s a 0 value (no note played). So yes, I paraphrased a little! The rectangle analogy severed as a simplified version, but the issue is the same. Any ideas? Could this be done with a modifier in some way?
@@DvResolveTutorials I’m still interested in if it’s possible, however I’ve sorted the issue by writing a python script to alter the midi file itself before loading into the MidiExtractor Modifier. All working finally! Happy New Year! 🎉
Amazing, Bro I need help, Actually I want to make a text+ node in which I need all of the words to capitalize with Ebrima font, Also is it possible to add some Arabic fonts in the middle of this text but with some good Arabic font and not with the ebrima... Please Help me
For the making of all caps, I found this tutorial anycaseapp.com/blog/capitalization/how-to-change-the-selected-text-case-in-davinci-resolve-easily/ However, for using multiple languages(fonts) in a single text node I'm not sure if that's possible. Your best bet would be to leave a question on the r/davinciresolve Reddit forum as I've found them really good and responsive in the past. Hopefully that's somewhat of help, I'm glad you liked the video.
Thanks for mentioning this, watching it back I do definetly see what you mean. I've just worked on two more videos coming out over the next two Wednesdays so it would be interesting to see what you think of the speed of the voiceover for them. It's me trying to get the balance between engaging and efficient but still useful in the content, so any feedback is much appreciated.
Incredible info and not too fast at all mate. Excellent content.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the feedback 🙂 Hope something there can come in useful for you in the future.
Well played, Sir, well played!

@AaronDnigha i did it lol! but i made the comm because is a difference between a tutorial channel and entertainement channel.
I couldn't understand a single thing because dude you are talking at aeroplane speed, slow down a little and make us understand not just show.
