One of my favorite scenes at this tournament yesterday was watching Nate walking toward the 1st tee to begin his round pushing his daughter in her stroller, walking his dog on leash, just chillin like NBD!
This is the best commentary for a tournament yet. Super informative, laid back, and funny. They're really good at remaining impartial even though one of them is in the video
Awesome coverage once again!! I love watching Perkins play with his form it doesn’t seem like he would throw far but he rips!!!! It just shows that there are many different ways to throw and still play well.
How did I not see this until today??? 100% pure, concentrated awesome: just add Jomez and stir! Hey Jeremy, remember the last hole of NZ Nationals, when Manaboom spanked both you and Avery off the teepad, with at least a 180-metre throw? Yeah, the shot where you ended up on the roof of that rickety old shed. I thought you were gonna get killed falling through it. But you didn't, and Avery missed his putt - and you took the title. Yeah, Manabu is definitely, pound for pound, the longest thrower in the game. Only Ken Jarvis might be able to claim title, if he got serious again.
Is there a way to set pref to hide comments and can be expanded?? happened to start out of full screen and saw a spoiler comment (which sucks when watching the F9 show. )
Kai Widman you have the option to mark your disc on the closest point of your disc to the basket. Both time Paul declined to do that and therefore putted from an extra 11 inches away
I have lost track of how many times I have seen Paul step out of a bush or duck under trees or something while picking up his mini after hitting a put that no mortal should make.
Yoooooo are we just all gonna sit here and pretend that big worm didnt just make a captain stabbin shoutout?!?!?!? Hahaha then golden boy sexton didnt even pick up on it. I know im not the only OG on here that caught the captain stabbin reference
Also, we now have empirical data of how far a lot of these guys are throwing, thanks to CCDG using radar guns in their coverage. In their latest coverage for the Memorial, they have speed readings for Nikko on many holes. With the exception of one abberarent readout (which was likely a typo, since it was a short hole and he’s obviously not throwing full power), Nikko was never able to achieve a release velocity above 66 MPH. This would put him well below some people known for power, including Ricky (69 MPH) at BSF last year, Paul (75 MPH), Simon (76 MPH), and Eagle (78 MPH). Many people talk about Manabu’s driving power, and though he hasn’t been measured with a radar gun yet, I suspect he can throw much faster than 66 MPH. Hopefully he’s at the BSF this year. I’ll be there with my radar gun taking measurements. I’ll also do at least one round of the lead women’s card, so we can all find out how fast Paige is actually throwing. I estimate she reaches speeds around 64-65 MPH.
Yeah, I'd say so, though that competition was some years ago and people's power fluctuates. I'm only going by the evidence shown on screen during the latest CCDG coverage, where Nikko appeared to top out in the mid 60s.
Ok, a few fact checks right off the bat: 1. USDGC 2016 was not "some years ago", but roughly a year and a half ago, and more precisely, I believe it was the last Major before the Aussie Open 2017 where I first remember the "Pound-for-pound" theory being presented. 2. Velocity and distance are not the same thing. Nikko achieves a lot of his distance through superior shot shaping. 3. A single tournament with radar measurements is a negligible sample size. But in the end none of that matters. My original comment was made out of frustration over how different commentators continue to wax lyrical about Manibu´s distance off the tee while not even paying lip service to the obvious contender that is Nikko Locastro. We may never know the empirical truth of the matter, and if we do, Manibu may well be the winner, but in the meantime we definitely need to keep Nikko´s name in the mix.

You guys including Paul mcBeth are my favorite commentators. You guys are great and I love the insight you have in the game and in general.
Once again great job Jomez productions. Quality disc golf coverage.
Awesome coverage once again!! I love watching Perkins play with his form it doesn’t seem like he would throw far but he rips!!!! It just shows that there are many different ways to throw and still play well.
GG almost unrecognizable. Looking great man! Amazing coverage as always from Jomez
Yeah holy hell he lost like 30lbsb
You guys are the highlight of my weekends
10:25 loving the "captain stabbing" putting style
Very fitting at Brazzers East Park

Yooo watching in 2022! Getting pumped for the season
Big Hangover commentary lol ( jerm )
great coverage as always, thanks!
I think Thomas Gilbert is in he background. The guy in the teal shirt looks like him.
Awesome commentary guys...great round. 😎😁
Rooting for a repeat victory. Would’ve been nice to see Conrad make a run again.
i wish you guys could cover more of the FPO rounds. watching TDGG can get cumbersome...
Sweet. Thanks a lot for sharing. 😊
At 13:33, I call that shot the Thunder shot. Thunder meaning, underhand thumber...thunder. I use that shot on occasion.
When Jerm missed that putt on #8, I think I cried.
Love the 'Lost in Space' reference..
Thanks Jomez!
Jerm doing some beautiful forehand shots with his Champ roadrunner.
How did I not see this until today??? 100% pure, concentrated awesome: just add Jomez and stir!

Beautiful Jerm! ...
Nice finish big man!
Do I hear water running in the background? Behind Nate and Jeremy??
They should definitely surprise us with a Nomez slowmo after a spit out sometime :D
When is Perkins gettin on the Suave team with Barsby, Johansen and Conrad?
That's the greatest team ever assembled
Double G!!!! Welcome back kid!
killer card this week!
Is it just me or does Garrett look not as big as he use to be? Awesome to see him playing again!
Love Big Jerm's "pocket" forehand.
Which Nike's is Paul wearing.
Was this drone footage from 2017? Trees and colors look different from the actual event.
Simon gets caught in traffic and misses his tee time.
"Simon doing Simon things......"
zen babaloo still birdies haha
Surprised he didn't find an opening in traffic that no one else saw
@@dannyschwalen underrated comment.
"pound for pound it's the Paige Pierce show" ~ Indeed
Big Sexy sounds a wee bit hungover, Sláinte boys
Evan Losh the players party was a fun one
What is that orange disc Big Jerm smashed on hole 9? Eagle? Thanks for amazing coverage Jomez! Quality!
Road runner
True, Paul didn't mark 2. Thanks aswell guys!
Does anyone else think jerm sounds a lot like John Krasinski?

Here you go 1:07 9:26 12:02 13:14 15:49 18:15 20:42 20:56 23:07 26:33
What is Jerm talking about when he talks about Paul marking his disc?
Kai Widman you have the option to mark your disc on the closest point of your disc to the basket. Both time Paul declined to do that and therefore putted from an extra 11 inches away
8.35 inches, but yes.
William Baker good call.
I've heard him say he doesn't like to mark his putts
No disrespect but Perkins looks like the missing link between Locastro and Barsby
I would love to win the pdx. Btw great job
GG throwing a sonic for approaches? wow! dont see that often.
Jomez! Yesss!
Can we get a Big Jerm Forehand clinic?
yes please!
You guys sound exhausted! Out late celebrating? I guess we'll see!
Paul's shirt says, "Oakley" on the back, did he swipe one of Eric's? Haha
Have to agree with Nate. I mean no fan would ever choose to see Paul throw a Gator, right? Who knows better?
Garret with the Sonic, I hope he wins a world title and gets his name on some champ Sonics.
2:05 Now I wanna see a tourney where everyone is force to throw a groove ;p
I have lost track of how many times I have seen Paul step out of a bush or duck under trees or something while picking up his mini after hitting a put that no mortal should make.
Jeremy "it was the wind" Koling
Double G killing it.
The whole video I kept wondering to myself, is Nate the one with a fish tank in the background or is it Jerm?
Joseph Burns what the heck is that??!
An actual fish tank or fountain. I can hear water
Maybe it's raining
How will I get by without my big sexy cometary? My car rides will be so lame without my big sexy audio.
Come on Paul! You'll get em next time buddie
Love the content, love the big sexy commentary, love disc golf! Keep up the good work. ;-D
Did he say Captain Stabbin'?...funny! :)
Yesssssss!
Sounds like they got the south park guy for the announcer lol
which guy from south park?
Who the hell uses a flash outdoors?
somebody was taking video and didn't notice the light was on
Paul wearing the Nike's.
Yoooooo are we just all gonna sit here and pretend that big worm didnt just make a captain stabbin shoutout?!?!?!? Hahaha then golden boy sexton didnt even pick up on it. I know im not the only OG on here that caught the captain stabbin reference
nates baby is so cute!
OH! Paul isn't Adidas anymore? it's odd seeing him wearing Nike shoes
Shane Bentley Nope, he got tired of getting used. Much better things to come.
I'm glad there are more and more sponsors to the sport, but not if the athletes aren't happy. Growing the sport is wonderful to see
RJ Or Jordache
Jeremy looks like he is soo nervous over every putt
Nate Sextons says "uh huh" a lot .
Who in the world down votes these? #nomez
nice job defending the title.
Longest putt- up to this point Paul hadn’t made that 150 footer at mvp lol
Diiiiisc!
Pound for pound could be schusterick still
I guess it could be Eagle ...what’s he weigh like a buck 50?
Yeah it's almost certainly Eagle
Eagle is thin, but he’s actually not THAT small in real life. Will is a literal toothpick. It’s probably Nikko.
First shoutout
These rounds have been pretty boring. Not a huge fan of this course.
Can we please stop disrespecting Nikko Locastro with this Manibullshit? Nikko weighs less than a carry on bag and throws farther than a mortar
He is awesome, but cmon, he is the biggest crybaby

Oh, I guess this was a fluke then :) usdgc.com/?p=2166

Big drunk commentary
Jerm comes across as egotistical...
Steve Hill whats wrong with that, he also seems like a damn great dude!
