I wish I had saved my son’s cord blood! Instead, I listened to my sister-in-law’s mother, who’s a hematologist. She thought it was useless to save the cord blood because, at the time, the only thing it could treat was blood diseases like leukemia. And if the kid had leukemia, their own cord blood would have it too. Fast forward, my son is 14 now and has autism. 😢
