I downloaded the ghub and connected my G PRO X, and i cant see all options. I can only see all the mic settings, and the volume of the headset. So no eq and no more sound settings… i tried it on a 2020 macbook pro big sur, and 2017 imac through bootcamp windows, both the same issue. I have already tried reinstalling and have looked everywhere for a solution…

A question, do you have a non noise canceling gel ear pad that is more like the Logitech G Pro X foam that came with it. I do not want nor need noise canceling. Being that it is a "gel" pad I am guessing you/they do not.

Hey,I was just asking do I really need a splitter or I can just use the usb directly(my mic panel is not working and its make a buzzing or zzzzzzzzzzzzzz sound the front and the back)
I just picked this pair up tonight and I have to say it's much quieter than my other pair (which was a lot cheaper...). Am I doing something wrong? I have a few profiles that I've downloaded and they've made it sound a little better, but still nothing compared to my older, cheaper headset. What gives? Any help is appreciated!

If I buy a female usb a adapter to male aux cord will the surround sound and blue voice work if I customise on a laptop and play with on PlayStation...? Would the software settings save to the USB hub connector...?

HELP. Anyone who owns this headset can tell me how I can turn off hearing my own voice whenever i speak into the mic? In the hub if i turn the mic slider all the way down I dont get that 0.5 second delay in hearing myself but then the volume of my mic is too quiet. Is there a way to have my mic volume high while also getting rid of the 0.5 second delay in hearing my own voice?

As for getting this to work you MUST have the LOGITECH G HUB installed on your computer. When buying it it did say that.

so is this NOT wireless? I just bought this today and the old one I had was wireless. It had the volume controls on the headset. The one I got today looks just like yours and I'm trying to figure out how to make it wireless so I'm not attached to the computer.
The gvideo looks great, but this is just general info that everyone can see.

The replacement ear pads ARE better for those of us with melon heads....also cooler with the foam ventilation and an over all subtraction of weight from the headset.

People should do sound tests in CoD MW. Since smaller MP maps are better for letting me know how footsteps sound which is the most important thing in a headset.

Thanks for that excellent explanatory review ov this headset. Just got one..If ONLY they still made a REAL 5.1 analog headset that I could plug in to my Soundblaster Z card...My Trittons were ridiculous awesome, separate plugs for channels, but, alas..they had an engineering defect: The earpieces were attached to the head band with a tiny connector which simply snapped off when putting the headset on and in so doing putting normal pressures to open the distance between the earpieces..Oh well...
Been struggling to get this headset working properly. I noticed when you plugged yours in suddenly you got a popup. Mine does no such a thing and there are no options to configure this headset like im seeing in your video. WTF? Had them since black friday and iv yet to be able to configure them. Windows 10 is not playing nice. Iv been though all the settings in windows 10 and its an absolute bitch! I been though settings volumens, mics, settings after settings and the mic does not work properly either. Once minute it works then it stops. Should be plug and play. Its not!

i would love to say this headset it great but the ghub is terrible always have an inactive message or if I fix the inactive then I just get a connecting issue I've basically spent £90 when I brought then to use basic headphones, I just stopped trying to fix it at this point

But hear me great when I use the cable designed for the phone

Sorry I’m late but anyways your mic was probably not plugged in all the way and you might’ve not installed the G hub software to tinker and adjust the sound and mic quality or settings. I recommend turning on blue voice to get the best mic quality. Btw the button on the mobile cable is for playing and pausing music or vids and answering/declining calls. Hope this helps 😅

The are both compariable heatsets. Surround sound is just a virtual thing doesnt impact them, qually is still good gaming.

3.5mm cable can be used...I use it like that myself sound quality is fine no blue voice.

So why do they send a splitter for audio/mic but you have to go through the USB for surround sound? Also, does it mention anywhere that it requires the USB to be plugged in, regardless if you're using the splitter?Also, the software and instructions for this product are extremely bad in comparison to any other product I've had in the past. I'm happy with the actual hardware, but holy crap does Logitech know how to make a heaping pile of software crap.

How loud is this headset?
I had an issue where my old G35 was not loud enough when they changed the drivers to Logi Gaming Software. The sound got normalised and lost around 25% of it's volume.

I plan on getting this headset for my Mac do you no if it works and do you need the software to activate 7.1 surround sound

No that only applies for a PC.
I just bought this, my first Logitech headset and I'm about to return it. I can't stop my mic from bleeding. Everything about it is perfect amazing, however whenever I am playing with my friends they hear everything that is going on on my computer. I have tried what I believe is everything and nothing is fixing it.
Does this have background noice cancelling?
