It's supposed to be an employee uniform for the movie theater! Whenever a movie was playing on Cartoon Network around this time, you would've seen various characters working at the theater during the commercial breaks, and Ed was one of those employees.

I always wondered about it since I saw him on the train of the thumbnail on some random bumper collection. I clicked on yours though for the high quality! And being too lazy to look for it in the massive bu.per collection xD. Also I wanna say that out of all the unique assets from this era its extremely unique that the only character from all of the bumpers to be done differently is straight up the Extremasuar! Like he was originally drawn 2D but here he is 3D!

I thought it was really brilliant to make a 3D render out of him, just so he could interact better with the otherwise 3D world. I honestly would LOVE to get my hands on the assets that the studio used for the city, down to every last 3D model they used.

I can see why. It’s very violent. And it has lots of trash talk. And how can fighting maintain harmony between two worlds anyway? It’s better to bring people together than beating them up. Most movies and TV today have less racist and violent things on things meant to be family friendly. And we now have stronger laws on sexuality.
