He has worked with several bands, including Korn, Disturbed, Apocalyptica, Anthrax, and Soulfly. After the first two Slipknot albums went Platinum, he revived Stone Sour to record an album and tour. In 2017, he and Griffin appeared as guest stars on an episode of The Nostalgia Critic. He was ranked at #86 in Hit Parader's Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time. He was also named the seventh greatest heavy metal frontman by NME. In 2016 he started to host "A Series of Bleeps", a rock-centric radio show on Beats 1. Mike Shinoda is the epitome of a musical genius. Not only did he spark another renaissance in changing the way people thought about hip-hop, but also in the world of rock and metal bands. It makes sense now. I remember always hearing that corey was such an asshole and conceited. People don't like REAL people who stay true to themselves and won't fake it to please people. They see those with confidence in their character, and people with integrity as self righteous, and they will say all kinds of things to bring you down, and try to make you break, take your confidence. When you dont let it bring you down to their level, they decide you are even more of a conceited prick.

Do not try to suit someone's expectations because you'd never be happy this way! Im literally obsessed with this guy, so talented, fun, And bright. I heard about slipknot 15 years ago while i was in middle school back in colombia. Never gave it too much tought to the band (plus my catholic parents will never allowed me to listen heavy metal). One of those days, just feeling curious how the guys from slipknot look like, realized not just how handsome he is, but also he looks strongly alike to my husband lol.
