If you’ve ever taken a look at your life and wondered what’s holding you back, No Excuses is literally the answer. Brian Tracy’s explosive study on the power of self-discipline will show you how to break down the barriers between you and success by simply eliminating the excuses we tell ourselves every day.
Exploring the power of self-discipline in practice, No Excuses (2010) takes a look at how we can improve three critical areas of our lives-- personal success, career success, and overall happiness-- through aggressive self-discipline. Arguing that excuses are the limitations we place on ourselves, Tracy challenges readers to relinquish the crutch of convenient excuses and embrace the life-changing power of self-discipline.

Thank you for this. I started reading the book yesterday...it brought me to tears. I've realised so much about myself that has hurt myself and others with my non discipline life style. It's like I've been a con to myself and others. I'm sorry to myself and others that I've disappointed. 🙏🏽

Well, yesterday and today I watched a couple of videos of yours and learnt a lot. Thank you so much.
I am so motivated now that I unsubscribed to this channel and leaving this comment as my last summary watched.
I realised that these books give a boost of dopamine and feel like listening to them all the time. Lol.
So, now I've decided...enough of what I've learnt...now I've to utilise all my time in achieving my goal and health care.
    No more videos
    But thanks once again.

Wow! The diet advice is archaic and damaging towards realistic long-term sustainability. I encourage all to research and read about the Minnesota Starvation Experiment from the 1950’s. We can definitely change and create healthier eating patterns but that does not include the need to go to extremes. It’s perfectly normal to eat and enjoy ‘fun foods’ on occasion in moderation. After all food is enjoyable but what we don’t want is to use food as the main coping mechanism. Ask yourself WHY are you eating first before you take your first bite of food. Is it out of physical/biological hunger or out of non-physical/psychological hunger. Start noticing those patterns and how often they are happening. This will increase your awareness and know where/when/how often you need to start making those changes little by little.

Yes, this book's nutrition advice is bad. You can have a wide variety of foods so long as they fit your calorie and nutritional goals. Just like with budgeting money, there are essential nutrients you require, but after you reach those, you have a discretionary budget of calories you can spend on foods you enjoy.
Highly restrictive diets cause people to feel deprived and not stick to them. The myth that you have to only eat eggs/grilled chicken/broccoli to lose weight is what causes many people to give up. "Diets" in general are bad; it's better to make gradual long-term changes than to try to have a 6 month program.
He also wrote "losing a pound a day", which unless maybe you're 400 lbs, is unsustainable. Most dietitians will recommend losing 1-2 lbs per week.
