Wonderful garden!! One thing. I am European and have lived in the U.S. for thirty three years. As I grow older, I start to think more and more about returning to Europe for good.... Yes, society has changed enormously since I left, but I just never have felt completely at home in the U.S. I will be retiring in a few years, so I'll make my decision soon..

I was stationed in Karlsruhe in the late 70's. Germany is beautiful! One of the things I miss the most is the great German beer!!!🍺

When I turned 40, I treated myself to business class on a long haul flight - which may or may not have been a mistake, because I've never been able to fly cattle class since unless it's only a couple of hours. Makes all the difference in the world to be able to properly stretch out and lie down; I used to struggle for days afterwards, but not any more.

It is amazing how the German traits are passed on in German descendants no matter where the person lives. My Mom had a flower and tree sanctuary in the backyard at my parents house, birds, squirrels, rabbits, we had a lot of wildlife that lived off of the plants and trees she grew. I love your videos.

Drove through Köln a bunch of times with German family and they never even thought to mention that we were crossing over the Rhine, I only found out a few years later. We crossed the Danube too when we were in southern Germany, but they made a huge deal about that one!
