June 4, 2021. This was our time on the trail. Cell/GPS is weak on the trail. Anything off the main gravel road was not marked on Google Maps. All branching trails are dead ends, so backtracking out is the option. We did the trail in 2wd in dry conditions. We had no clearance issues in our trucks, but any smaller vehicle might have trouble with the potholes and ruts. Slowing down and driving around them will still get your through though. The main gravel road can be done in a Corolla. It's wide, graveled, and flat. On the side dirt trails, the road gets narrow. Since all the trails are in and out, you have to keep in mind of any turn outs. As you might need to back up to a wider section to allow oncoming vehicles pass.
Cameras: DJI Osmo Action. Mounted on the inside of the windshield. Settings: 4k 60fps, Rocksteady On, Temperature Threshold High, Color Normal , Dewarp Off. Battery was installed in the cameras, but we also have them plugged up to 12v power the entire time. Charging and recorder does heat up the cameras to the point of shut off. We ran our A/C on defrost to get air to flow to the camera.
