I have no idea how this channel is still under 80k subscribers. Miami always gives the best mixing advice.

Top 10 most used drum samples would be so funny to see which ones we all recognise!

I just want to say thank you for doing a video that does not focus so much on samples and sample replacement.
I swear, sometimes I feel like I'm the last person on the planet who likes to record live drums, with the exception of the people who are recording live drums with the intention of selling the samples...

Shopped a ton of snares and landed on Pearl free floating in maple. Really, really good sounding snare that you can still pick up used for $500. Tunebot is the best tuning device imo, way more precise than drum dial

Im going to be recording my brother on drums at some point. I'm going to suggest we record some one shots so we can blend samples of his snair over the top of his snair, all recorded in the same room on the same day.
I bought him a snare trigger a couple years ago so we can get a clean signal to trigger off of.

I love the flat Tama brass snare sound. Works well in almost every situation as a starting point for me.

Shat, sheet or poop mixing snare is 10x worse than kick, for me if the snare is ok everything else just fits perfect! Very nice video! Awesome tips!

It really is about the snare at the end of the day… especially when you turn a mic down and start listening quietly. It’s like, vocals/snare lol

I’d take midi drums over 90 percent of “drummers” I’ve ever recorded mate.
