When I played Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag 2 on a SDTV, I feel no input lag at all. I can only feel the input lag when I play them on HDTV. I'm surprised when you said Valle plays Tekken 7 on a very old TV and has a lot of delay.
I wanted to try out playing Tekken 7 on a SDTV, but those stuff almost doesn't exist here anymore since it's obsolete. And all my SDTV were already put away after being replaced with a HDTV, even though they were still working and they're almost 20 years old.

Tekken 7 uses new graphics so maybe it will have a very small impact or maybe none
Heard the same. Friend of mine who plays Super Smash Bros. Melee competitively bought an old CRT TV because they are more responsive.

Tarik Islam Had the same feeling and I bought one in summer 2016 it is the Madcatz Fightstick Alpha and I bought it for 50€ (don't know the price now since since Madcatz's bankruptcy)
I'm using it regularly for SFV, Tekken, UMvC3 and Guilty Gear but I'm thinking of a new stick but the Fightstick Alpha is not bad for beginners considering the price, there is nothing really good and nothing really bad about the stick, the only complain I have is that it has a 6 button layout instead of a 8 button layout. I was satisfied with my purchase and I hope I helped you a bit.

Tarik Islam I forgot that the stick is light it can move while you're inputting stuff which is very annoying sometimes so you need something underneath it so it can't move or you can do it like me and literally tape it on a wooden chair
Make sure you will stay with it. It takes average ~1month to get used to arcade stick. Don't just buy it because it looks very hype unless you have big pockets. Go for the same as TMM (Hori RAP3) or Madcatz TE2+ (the one with SFV Ryu cover). That's the ones I have on the market and they are around 150-200€.
Bogs Binny Is Hori a good choice for Arcade Sticks because since Evo 2017 I only saw top players using the TE2+, if yes what's a good stick from them. Speaking of Evo 2017 I saw a lot of Razor sticks are they good too, sorry if I'm asking much but I'm thinking of buying a better stick because I think the sticks on those are a bit more smooth to play with idk exactly.

TMM somehow does the same thing but manages to pull a win sometimes. Think about how many times he got hit by rage arts which could have been all avoided if he calms down sometimes during their rage lol

nah, in PS4 the level is also very low. But it´s normal, it´s a brand new game, many scrubs can make it to yellow ranks but they will go down to green eventually.
I first got the game around its first week of release and there were so many good players. Seems to me since it's still relatively new, really good players who are only now picking it up are still ranking up.
i see well i got two overlord ranks ( Jack 7 and Lili) so i don't really play the scrubs, some but not really but i remember warrior up to destroyer rank being a tad bit of a challenge. Then on PC i'm watching TMM just flying through these same ranks, i guess i am just thinking about it too much oh well.
