The timing though! One of my rabbits got out last night and ate a bunch of aloe vera. She also nibbled some philodendron, must not have liked it, and some amaryllis. She’s fine, luckily, and I’ve made the walls of the enclosure higher to avoid future midnight snacking.
One of our wild bunnies ate a bit of our green onion plant last week! She seemed to like it as it was hard to stop her. We have put the plants away and been observing if she still behaves ok. Thankfully she still acts fine...
My bunny ate a trail of my Pothos a few months after she arrived, but I didn’t notice for days. 😩 She jumped up on a chair and reached up to the hanging plant on the wall. I mean she was REALLY on a mission to get to it apparently! 🤣 I didn’t have time to react or worry, because enough time had passed for abnormal signs to have occurred. So she was fine! Phewww! I have tons of plants around my home that I had to research, so yes please be sure they are fully out of their reach for health sake. 🐰🐰
Are all types of rose plants bunny safe? There are a few different kinds I am thinking of getting. Popcorn drift, miniature pink or is it only traditional red that are safe. I just want to be sure :) Thanks
Hey thanks for this wonderful and informative video. I wanna know that are Zephyr lilies also known as rain lilies toxic for rabbits? I think my bun have nibbled on the rain lilies which I planted few weeks ago. She hasn't nibbled on a lot since it just started to grow and was really small. Still am concerned about it. Please reply are they toxic or not?
OK so, my rabbit jumped on my desk and ate a chocolate from my candy bag and a bunch of gummies👀 is he gonna be Ok? He seemed very happy with the chocolate tho🌝
I recommend calling a vet to get professional advice about this especially if your rabbit managed to eat a lot of the chocolate. But to help keep you from panicking, I had a friend who's rabbit did the same thing once. She made sure to keep an eye on her rabbit's behavior over the next couple of days, and it turned out the rabbit was completely fine.
I have a question. (Im not wanting to give up my rabbit.) My rabbit seems to not want to be around me his favorite spot is in my box spring bed and if i put a gate up he will try to escape to get to it.. i tried everything i feel lost.. i dont know what to do... he was sick and i nursed him to health. But we still aren't bonded. I feel like a failure. Hes only 4 months old
you're not a failure!! there are many ways to try and bond with your bunny and some bunnies are harder to bond with. here are some ideas: -this one's really popular so you might've tried it but... lay on the floor, watch some youtube or something, and just stay there and wait until your bunny comes to you. let them sniff around you and become more comfortable. they will be more open to coming to explore you if you're on the floor because they are prey animals and predators come from above them. you can also try putting some treats around you(and later in your hand when they're more comfortable) to get them to come closer -hand feeding them helps a lot to get them more comfortable to you and to love you -if you put a shirt in they pen that you slept in or something it can help them get used to your smell. you can also try putting a treat in the shirt so they start associating you with the treats. this is great if they don't want to eat from your hand but also just to get them to like you more. -also don't force you rabbit to come to you. like trying to pick it up or forcing petting because that will make them want to stay away from you my bunny loves bananas and blueberries and strawberries and it was the first food she ate from my hand so i recommend trying those. but remember not to feed too much fruit lol hope this helps:) your bunny is still really young and they will eventually warm up to you, dont give up!

I have a run which I put on the grass so my rabbit doesn't eat any garden plants, especially as I have no idea which ones are safe to eat.
Amazing video ❤️

Hi,
How about arrowhead plant, my rabbit ate a leaf tonight and I’m quite concerned. Will he be alright?
People shouldn’t give their rabbit roses that come in a bouquet because they’re loaded with horrible pesticides
