As soon as my rabbit figured out what I was trying to get her to do, she started trying to grab the pointer away from me. “I don’t work for my treats lady!! I am a queen!” Haha she enjoys it more now. :P
This is a very fun video. Starting at the very beginning of trick training. A very good place to start. Most people don't realize rabbits can be trained just like dogs. A good example of their intelligence. Thanks for posting.
not sure why i processed ‘pointer’ as a laser pointer and i was like ah, time to entertain my rabbit the way i would a cat 😂 great video though! gonna go get a pointer so i can teach my bun some tricks!
Amy i have a question: So I have a about toddler age Holland lop bunny and I'd really like to be able to train him just basic things such as using his litter box for both peeing and pooping and also being able to at least recognize his name and when im speaking to him. Is there any way you could help me? I'd really appreciate it!🖤🖤
Do you have any suggestions for trying to teach "leave it"? Could the pointer training be used for this? I've watched some dog training and a few videos that I think might translate to rabbits (some use leashes and other things that are very dog focused), but I haven't been able to find anything on specifically teaching it to rabbits. What I'm most worried about is that she will start to do the behavior so that I will request "leave it" to get a treat. She is starting to learn the pointer training and has learned a few basic tricks so far, so it won't be the first thing she learns.
@@TheBunnyLady OMG I love your videos and Ellie she is so cute when I got my bunny she was a baby and I didn’t know what to do I never had another pet before except a fish that died in 2days and you helped me so much my bunny and me now are both happy and very comfortable!!!☺️💗

My bunny can get really nervous I'm wondering why
bunnies are prey animals so it takes time to get their trust
My bunny bites me when I try to get her food ball she is like “DONT TOUCH MY FOOD” me: “ I AM TRYING TO GIVE YOU FOOD”😂
Same goes with me >
Oh no! With the shelter buns who get a little aggressive about treats, I'll place the treat on a spoon to give to them so that they won't bit my hands
