Some very nice photographs. Stanton Moor is a great place, I’ve been photographing there since a college photo trip in 1976 and there are still secretive places I’m discovering. Everything changes during the seasons but the best time may be winter into spring when the undergrowth has died down, the worst during the Solstice and Equinox cycles when the campers turn up to ‘celebrate’ the seasons and turn it into a litter strewn cesspit.
@@Stainphotography try the old quarries that nibble into the plateau around the edges, but if in the area also go across the valley to Robin Hoods Stride,another stone circle nearby (much bigger stones) and even a Hermits Cave, plus of course great landscape and characterful trees.
Stanton Moor, really is just a fantastic place to say the least. I was up there a little while ago with another fantastic TH-cam Photographer, and it was just magical, though in terms of Heather it was not exactly fully out.

This place has been on my list of locations to visit for a couple of years now. Definitely loads of potential. That first image was stunning

If/when you return, there is a layby with room for several cars only about 50 yards further on past the opening to the footpath.
