Just came across this video by chance thanks for doing this video I’m not a computer expert lol but I’m sure I could get lots of pointers of this, just need to photograph a subject now to try it thanks again paul
Thanks for sharing your Lightroom expertise, that was very insightful and I’m looking forward to putting it into practice. I’m fairly new to Lightroom and can’t believe it’s incredible power.
Really good and helpful video Steve. Would be interested to see a similar one on a trickier (?) subject e.g. the Osea Beach Huts. Keep up the great work. Clive
Very nicely done, I have to say that I still much prefer the removal tool, spot healing brush, generative fill, and the clone stamp tool in Photoshop over the new tools in Lightroom. To me it seems the Photoshop tools are much more refined than those in Lightroom. I suppose I'm one of the odd few that doesn't really care about being able to do everything from a single program. I really don't mind jumping between programs if I have more control over my edit in one over the other. If I'm working on a photo with something simple to remove then sure, I'll do it in Lightroom but for the real heavy lifting, Photshop still rules.
Hey Steve, brilliant image and edit. Thanks for sharing. Could I add just one suggestion? I’d like to see a variation with the slightest negative dehaze applied to the rear boat (left) add to the sense of depth. But again, I love this image. Well done.
Cracking video, thanks for sharing and I’ll definitely be giving this a try. Do you think you can use a similar technique to the b&w architecture low key images?
on the eolian islands there is a vineyard on the island of Salina, that makes a wine named 'Iancura'. This is the word for the moment when the color of the sea and sky are the same. I think you should name this image iancura.
