Worked there. Gallatin s. My favorite peak all time is Barronette. Quadrant is good one. Yellowstone is great cross country hiking. But why when you can stay above 8000 up on the tooth. Summer. It has the wildlife though. Definitely.
I believe that your trip happened a couple of weeks before the torrential snow and rain and subsequent flooding in June that shut down portions of Yellowstone park.
