Will likely never make it here for a trip, such a pretty area. Shout out to Joey! Thanks for the video man.

Beautiful. Remind of the Sierra Nevadas. Have you ever considered doing a tour of the Arc Dome Wilderness?

Absolutely love the time lapses!! I'm hoping to get to the Beartooths at some point, beautiful country!

Amazing. I only recently found out about the Beartooths, and your video confirmed that this range is going on the list. I definitely got some high alpine White Clouds vibes with this one. Upper Aero looked pretty massive as well. Fantastic editing and great intro man. Looking forward to the next one!

"They need to watch some Joey videos". That was awesome, had to comment. Did an Eleven day trip in the Beartooth back in the 80's. Beautiful place.

Thank you for this cool video. I have done some backpacking in Montana but not in the Absaroka-Beartooth region. I need to get there.
Again, thank you for this video.

HA! We'd all like to watch more 'Joey' videos but WHERE'S JOEY!?

      He’s still on walkabout.

He's still out there! Last I heard his laptop broke so he can't upload. He finished an epic trip with my friend Aaron at Mt. Rainier National Park. I was originally going to go on it but then I got a new job / had to move.

I really enjoyed your video. I have backpacked into this area a couple of times, but from different trailheads. My first trip I started at the East Rosebud trail head which involves a lot of elevation gain. The second trip I started at the Chief Joseph CG area off the 212 Hwy and followed the trail toward Fossil Lake, but just before Fossil Lake I when off trail around Fizzle Lk and on up a small valley to Rough Lk. I explored that area for a few days, climbing up some of the higher ground like you. It been 15 years since I was last there so it certainly refreshes my memory of that beautiful area. Good to see the mountain goats are still there. I saw of herd of them at the lower Sky Top Lake.

I had to think of which Joey video you were talking about. Then I thought I bet you have never seen the Dorf potato cam video on Dorf's channel. That video is funny. I think Joey and Dorf were drunk for a few days from that cheap wine that Joey was packing. That was Joey's first trip to that area by the comment Joey made.

I use to hike and fish those lakes for weeks on end back in the 60's,70's and never see a soul. Use to be the best kept secret. Not anymore

I did not, just mountain goats above the tree line. A single grizzly below treeline
