I'm from Scottish heritage, thought I would enjoy my ancient ancestors stories. Yes I can visualize it easily.

Thankyou for your beautifully written work!! Try to ignore the negative comments, as they are completely unfounded in my own opinion! I struggle to understand their stance and need to bemoan such obvious hard work, that this clearly took to complete! Thankyou once again!!

This is a brilliant book, about a fascinating, largely unknown, unexplored subject, tonnes of stuff to be learned... but I cant help thinking its named wrongly. Luckily I came here by accident, and got much better than I expected, but I think it would receive far more sought for attention if it was called 'tales of the borders' or something! But thank you so much just the same for reading and uploading

Ragnar was made infamously famous by a violent and should be censored Netflix series.

It is too bad they don't have these stories in a nice smooth deep male voice for those of us that prefer audiobooks in male voices - preferably with an English accent. Maybe I just got too spoiled by being able to set my audiobooks to the voice I like so that now a female voice just isn't soothing for me.

An english voice for Scottish history??
Would Ewan McGregor not be more suitable 😉
Well spoken yet still has that hint of his Scottish accent.
He could even use the trainspotting "it's shite being Scottish" accent.
I'd agree with the sentiment and I'm Scottish, we're ruled by wankers 😁

      Scotland run from
well below Berwick to Carlisle for centuries before the English land grab.
I do believe people in Newcastle still see themselves as Scottish as well, friends certainly do.
How far down is Hadrians wall again?????
