Skyler your “charge it” story is just like what happened in one of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies. 😂
It was so much fun watching some of the quints overcoming their fear of jumping off the diving board. It was cool to see Lincoln, after the first, scary jump, get back on the diving board and act like he had been jumping off by himself forever. The rest of the kids will get there. You story about charging was so funny! I loved it! It was good to see HeHe again. I'm sure everyone is enjoying having her around more. Enjoy your summer!

Skyler have you ever went swimming in a spring, that is cold,lol, so cold that the second you jump in your body goes into shock suddenly making you nice and warm. Every time I read "let's go father," I do it in a British accent 😂😂. That pool looks great! It is nice that we are getting other pools besides the St. George city pool. It is great and all, but I always thought it was weird that our horribly hot town doesn't have more pools or a water park!
I love that they all tried even if they change their minds! Can't get enough of your family and I absolutely love seeing hehe back . One thing I love to tell kids when they are scared of doing something new (and of course while being supervised) you can do it scared❤ Daddy and hehe are here to make sure you are safe

Your friend did a good job building the fort however, I didn’t think it wasn’t built sturdy enough. The fort needs tape on ALL edges.

Funny thing is I actually learned to swim in the jacuzzi at the resort where my parents worked. You may have heard of it, Rosario on Orcas Island.

Skyler, the water even looks cold. Daisy is very brave, I could never go off a diving board. The quints are used to a smaller home pool. A big public/private pool will take a longer time to warm up. Ha ha about the “charge it”. We were allowed to “charge it”. But we had a limit. At the end of the month Dad would review the slips. Ha ha my brothers would “charge it” and fib and sign off purchase to another sibling. I was always signing my name. But when my brothers bought too much they would sign off to let a sibling fail in restraining from “charging”. There would be lots of “Johnny come here, why do I have 10 slips for you?” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

I just wanted to say I think it's awesome that the kids are learning at such young age to jump off the dining board And I think it's awesome that you have a pool in your backyard. And mom has one that was always my dream when it's little.

Skyler doesn't have a pool in his back yard. He moved. They are at the neighborhood clubhouse pool. And they jumped off the diving board 😊

I used to live in Calaveras County, California. The big annual frog jumping contest i actually held in nearby Angel's Camp, not Mokelume Hill.

I comment here and there, sometimes in reply to the nasty people with their rude remarks, but usually just to you about your beautiful kids and phenomenal parenting! Love following you. I had stopped for a while though because of one of your followers a while back, and it appears as though she's back, and she's brought a 'friend', I have no idea if they know each other, to harass the rest of your followers. They answer to @dearleah7299 and @jennsafari nobody, it seems, is allowed to comment if one of those two do not like your comment. Please, Skyler, do all of us a ginormous favor, as I'm sure just about all of your followers would agree with me, and block them from commenting! Hi @letsgofather I hope you'll see my comment :) I'm from Germany where all kids have mandatory swimming lessons at school for several years and I just noticed that your kids don't use proper technique while swimming. So maybe you could sign the kids up for swimming lessons? I think they can only benefit from lessons and it is very important to know how to safely swim in a big pool or open water so they don't get exhausted too quickly. I think especially the ones who love the water would enjoy it ☺️
He is a great parent and these kids have had swimming lessons since they were toddlers. Please don't tell him what to do. They are great swimmers as both parents have and had pools at their homes. The diving board was a new experience and they were perfectly fine with their swimming skills. Please have more confidence in Skyler as a parent and in these kids and their abilities. 😊 Btw they are having fun time and don't need to be concerned about technique.
@JennSafari I know that they have/had pools at home, that's why it is especially important for them to know how to swim. Throughout all my years in kindergarten and primary school (in Germany), I had a lot of swimming lessons and continued to swim in a club for several years. That's why I notice if someone needs some more training. It's not only about being able to keep their heads above the water. It is so important for kids to learn how to swim correctly because, like I said, otherwise, they could get exhausted quite quickly, especially in a bigger pool or lake. I think the kids can only profit from receiving some more swimming lessons.
@@RikeConstanze if you know that they have had pools and if you have watched videos since birth then you would know they have had swimming lessons for years. They know how to swim properly and safely. Their parents make sure of it. They are perfectly fine.😁
@JennSafari yes, I have been watching since they first started vlogging. I know they had some lessons but that doesn't change the fact, that they need to improve their swimming technique. I have been worried about this before and I've seen other comments stating the same. It's not about criticism, it is about their safety. If you don't believe me, you can look up swimming lessons on youtube and you will probably notice that there is room for improvement. In Germany kids have weekly swimming lessons for a period of about 4 years. Learning how to safely swim in big pools and open water takes time.
@@RikeConstanze they have had swimming lessons for years and continue learning all the time and I don't need to look up anything I am very knowledgeable. This isn't Germany and these are not your kids and things aren't the same here. The kids are perfectly fine and they are continuing to learn.. Skyler and Jamie are great parents who know what they are doing and teach them as well. No need to worry.

I loved looking at, listening to and watching this 12 minutes and 42 second video of you all having fun at the at the Resort Pool.
I loved Teddy the Robot that came to your table to give you your yummy Chocolate Ice-Cream and that you Daisy handed one each to Lily and Violet at the cafe.
I also loved the fancy car you Daisy, Lily and Violet sat in on your daddy daughters date. It looked like so much fun had by you three girls. Daddy daughter dates are fun to go on.
Skyler that is a shame that the Quints destroyed your cardboard fort come village that you and Melissa made for them. Maybe you and Melissa could re build the cardboard fort with the Quints helping you. It they help you then they are less likely to destroy it as they will know how much effete it took to make it.
Daisy, Lily and Violet that was nice of your dad to have a daughter date with you three doing whatever you three wanted to do after Lincoln and Logan got dropped off at a Birthday Party.
What a great looking Resort Pool area the Pool area is. It is great to have a Hot Tub so you can get hot and then you will enjoy getting into the cold water pool section.
Wow way to go and good on you Daisy and Lincoln for being big and very brave and jumping off the diving board into the pool at the Resort that your dad and Hee, Hee Popping took you and your 2 sisters and brother to.
Also great Dog Paddling in the pool after you both jumped off the diving board by you both too.

Skyler that was a funny story that told us, your Facebook friends that you learnt what charge it to the account meant when you were little and funny that your parents stopped you charging to their account, as money never grows on trees and has to come from somewhere and nothing is for nothing, free someone has to pay for the goods in the end. Ha, Ha.
Skyler I am sure by the end of the summer you will get all 5 of the Quints jumping off the Diving Board into the Pool at the Resort.
Skyler I am so proud of Daisy for being the first one to jump off the Diving Board into the big pool. Daisy is really coming out of her shy shell and being more confident and brave in doing lots of things for the first time.

I have noticed that often when I get harsh comments you stand up for me, which is awesome, but not needed. I just overlooked those comments myself, and if someone gets really nasty, or is consistently unkind, I block them on my own.
Also, I have noticed that there are times, such as the comment above, when you correct or even chastise people, when they don't mean any offense.

I taught swimming for over 30 years. Please I roll them in swimming lessons with a certified instructor. They are developing all the wrong strokes. If you want them to be safe swimmers they need to learn the proper arm and leg kicks so they came swim the whole length without any fear.
I agree. In Germany, where I'm from, all kids are taught how to swim in school for several years. It is so important to learn the right technique because otherwise, they will get exhausted quite quickly when they swim and this could become very dangerous in a bigger pool or lake.
They have had swimming lessons since they were toddlers and you know that. They are perfectly fine and enjoying the water and swimming in their own way and form. The parents have had pools and they don't need to be told what to do with their kids. Swimming is fun and free in this setting. It's not something that has to be perfect and again they've had years of swimming lessons. Let them enjoy their time with their family and swim how they want. 😊
@@JennSafarithey have not had swimming lessons. They took them to Mina minas pool and they taught them simple things when they were babies.

I would suggetst the club to start offering pizza and it would help you to be able to order 1 pizza instead of a meal for everyone that must get very expensive.

Nothing confusing about it. Jamie didn't say she was changing anything. She does live videos on Wednesday's but doesn't show the kids. Other videos she does. Skyler changed his content to podcasts and not showing the kids and then he changed it back to showing them sometimes but also shares other types of content.
