Thanks guys. My top 10 would be a mix of solo games and family games. Marvel Champions, Arkham LCG, Mage Knight, TMB Undertow, Ark Nova, Tamashi, Warhammer Kill Team, Sheriff of Nottingham, Azul, Takenoko, Love Letter.
Here's my top 10, will maybe change in 2025 but it's the one of 2024: 10- Orléans 9 - Beyond the Sun 8- SpaceCorps 2025-2300AD 7- Dwelling of Eldervales 6- Clans of Caledonia 5- Scythe 4- Mage Knight 3- Brass Birmingham 2- Marvel Champions 1- Spirit Island
Lol!!! Almost spit my drink laughing when you said the part about buying for reselling and then keeping it. Glad to know it doesn’t only happen to me 😂
Good lists. I would like to get some Chip Theory to the table. We play only co-ops, so my top 10 is also a Top 10 co-ops: 10) The Shipwreck Arcana. 75 plays. A small box underrated logic gem. 9) Beyond Baker Street. 76 plays. A *slightly more complex (and better) version of Hanabi. 8) Atlantis Rising. 35 plays. A beautiful co-op worker placement with push your luck elements. 7) Last Bastion. 44 plays. The newer Ghost Stories. A co-op tower defense-type game. 6) Daybreak. 16 plays. Newest to list. A strategic and tactical co-op card tableau/engine building game. 5) Viticulture (with co-op World expansion). 38 plays. Worker placement, engine building, and different modules for repeat play. 4) The Crew: Mission Deep Sea. 143 plays. Co-op trick taking with slight deduction elements. 3) Pandemic (the entire series). 260+ plays. A fantastic action point game. I love the legacy versions, Rising Tide, and “The Cure” (great dice version) best. 2) Marvel Champions. 361 plays. Unlimited replayability and asymmetry. 1) Spirit Island. 1220 plays. Incredibly asymmetric and replayable. Can explore individual spirits, aspects of these spirits, adversaries, scenarios, etc.
A few notes: 1-I love seeing Hoplo Victorum on the list 2-I’m banning D20 from his own channel for not including LOTR LCG 3-Shocked because I thought Novels #1 & #2 would be switched. 4-Absolutely flabbergasted that Arkham wasn’t on Novels list.
9. Beyond the Sun 8. Arkham Horror LCG 7. Slay the Spire 6. Star Wars deckbuilder 5. Dune Imperium 4. Marvel Champions 3. Spirit Island 2. Root 1. Sentinels of the Multiverse: Definitive Edition In lieu of a tenth, perhaps this is a bit of a cheat answer but: Magic the Gathering and Yugioh during good formats. Keeping up with the games and staying competitive lost their luster for me, but the memories of the best times and best formats cannot be beat.
I listened to your top 10 and your games are a little lighter than the ones I usually play (even if I like all weights of games) so here are a top 5 games I think you would enjoy: 5- Warp's Edge (solo but so good) 4- Leviathan Wild's (coop at it's best) 3- Bullet heart or star (tetris but on high octane) 2- Roll for the Galaxy (Dice and worker placement, the best match) 1- Tales from the Red Dragon Inn (one of the best campaign game out there) Take a look at these, I think they would be right your alley :)
Enjoyed the video! I had lots of similarities with you both. My current top 10 would be: 10. Heroes of Land, Air, and Sea 9. Pictures 8. Codenames 7. Lorcana 6. Crokinole 5. Andromeda’s Edge 4. Unmatched 3. The Great Wall 2. Zombicide (Marvel & Western) 1. Project: Elite
LOTR Duel ia definitely a thing, it has been the hottest game in the board game community for the past 2 months. I've heard it's about 80% 7 Wonders Duel. Same designers.
If Marvel Champions wasn't #1. I was going to dislike the video. ;) Also I sold Legendary X-men a while ago. Sometimes regret it but I prefer Champions over Legendary

Thanks for making the bed novels lol.
So good to see Unmatched on both of your lists. I love painting the minis.
Marvel Champions is my favourite game for solo and co-op and SWU is my favourite when playing competitively so I’m a big fan of this list! 😁
Here's my top 10, will maybe change in 2025 but it's the one of 2024:
10- Orléans
9 - Beyond the Sun
8- SpaceCorps 2025-2300AD
7- Dwelling of Eldervales
6- Clans of Caledonia
5- Scythe
4- Mage Knight
3- Brass Birmingham
2- Marvel Champions
1- Spirit Island
Solid.
Marvel Champions, Spirit Island and Dwellings are also in my top 10. Brass could make it in the future with more plays.

6. Star Wars deckbuilder
5. Dune Imperium

Yesss Lorcana made it 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 great breakdown for each game guys
Despite how much I complain I still love it 😂
Great list! I really want spires end! Mrs Ziggy and I will be making one of these eventually…

We used to play roll allllll the time. Solid game.
Kinda surprised Radlands didn’t make the list, I know you’ve talked highly of it.
I need to get Novels into it first so I can play a lot more haha.
Tuscany essential expansion for viticulture is a must. For the board alone
I did 100% hear that you have to get more games
Should’ve edited that out…
I am surprised that there was no "Too many bones" and "The lord if the rings" in the top
Haven’t played them in so long
Enjoyed the video! I had lots of similarities with you both.

3. The Great Wall

Y'all are so high on Legendary! I rather hated it. My group hasn't touched it in years but maybe we'll go back.
LOTR Duel ia definitely a thing, it has been the hottest game in the board game community for the past 2 months. I've heard it's about 80% 7 Wonders Duel. Same designers.
Need it!!
