I enjoyed this video. I was born and educated in St.Louis. Never knew this part of the history of this city. They always stopped at the World Fair. But I do know until this day. The West End of the city have always been the most sustainable affluent side of this city growing up even to this day. 2019.

Kinda wish it didn't loop and play the same thing twice, but neat info!

Interesting history about a city I was born and raised in but never was truly educated on much of St. Louis history which would also help me to understand why some things see the way they are here.

I loved this….I am a native, but have moved away….sadly, the city is now shadow of it’s former glory.

There's no way they built 1276 acres of unbelievable architecture and then tore it down in 3yrs...makes zero sense.

Ideat. Pure ideat. It was built, it happened. Much of it, as planned, was later removed.

If it was a world's fair that big, what made them close it down and stop making all that money? Plus they can't build it today #moors

That's like saying all summer fairs should be year-round. Again, most of it was not designed to be permanent. Most of those involved were from other areas and across the planet even. Nit wits like u cannot grasp most World's Fair attractions are not meant to be permenment, in part, the local community can not sustain that level of hyper-interest beyond a short time.
