I would never deal with this customer again and I would do everything I could to tell every other trucking company to never do a thing for them.
Thank you very much, buddy. This is unfortunately a reality that we have to deal with every day out here on the road. And I am definitely never going back to that place again.
Imagine if all the drivers out there refused to pickup the loads from this company. That company would go bankrupt. Also imagine if the drivers started charging idle time whilst waiting for this company and others like it.

I booked a load at 9:30 AM without even knowing that the appointment was set for 6:30 originally and they are still trying to screw me over.
Drop your trailer at the dock door, tell them to call you when it is loaded. Drive all the way to wherever your docs appointment is and come back a day later..........after your trailer has been sitting in the dock door for all that time. 🤣🤣

Told them that it wasn't going to happen. Ended up taking the load back to Tulsa from Portland Oregon. Paid both ways. Happy ending That was 35 years ago. Back when trucking was fun.
Ok wth.. a late fee is understandable, but DOT puts restrictions on drivers to only drive so far a day. This is insane. $10 per pallet penalty shouldn't be allowed. How about $200hr penalty for every hour you have a driver waiting.

Don't forget... Shippers and receivers typically have a 2-hour window to load/unload a truck. Any time spent outside of the allotted two hours is detention.
Broker knows about fee, reverse psychology is to tell you they don't know about the fee hopefully you will pay the fee out of your money you are making for the haul
They all lie, one dispatcher had me sitting next to him while he was lying to another Drive, than he looks at me and says ' Ooo I would never lie to you" yehhhrite😅
Wow that was nuts Bandit. They are trying to to double dip on everything late fees and pallets!?!?! Glad you got out of there. Stay positive my friend!
Hurts to see you dealing with health issues causing the dizziness and such, just found your channel but have been really enjoying the content, take care of yourself Bandit, want to watch you truck for a good while. Much love buddy!
Charming bunch, those warehouse people. 🙄Skipped the day when personalities were installed. I'm a forklift operator. I can load a full trailer in 45 minutes depending on what it is... seems ridiculous they hold you hostage like this. What a shit show this operation is. Pathetic.
I use to work for a paper company and we could load or unload 15 pallets in 30 minutes. Even had to unload a truck by hand and that would take 4 hours. Crazy
My trucker being a trucker is hard every load every freight has an eta and us as truckers have to be very hard on time if is at noon next day you have to put ur mind it has to be at 8 am every city country and state have different traffic so pls keep in mind 3 or 4 hour before eta
Dealing with shippersloading n unloading issues would be the top issue of driving a truck. I commend you guys who have to deal with it day in day out. I couldnt deal with that bull shit
What a bunch of bs !!! Sometimes i miss driving, but i definitely don't miss this bs part of trucking. Sorry you had to go through all that bs. I remember what it was like sometimes. But, "it is what it is" my friend.
Don't bring your ass to my warehouse then. I'm a receiver. We've had idiot drivers try to release trailers while we are still in them trying to unload. Swift drivers are notorious for this. Keep bad mouthing teamsters. We have good memories. #Local507
My favorite trucker on youtube, man. Honestly I don't even know how to talk to shippers like that. I'm either 0 or 100 with them, 100 hundred being yelling and cursing at them, so good job. 👍
looks like a place that needs a surcharge for delivery for surprise billing. Add it to their cost of delivery. Eventually they would run out of divers willing to pick up loads. Need to charge the dock for the delay in loading. A late fee for late arrival and a charge back for the delay in departure. Good for the goose, is good for the gander. Do not delay your drivers. They can not afford to eat those delays.
I really enjoy watching your videos they make me really happy all the time and your videos are fantastic mate and keep up the good work and I have subscribed to your channel and I am watching from new Zealand 🇳🇿
Don't let that crap get to you .Don't need the stress. Hsve a heart attack or something ur health more important thsn the load hope u make doctor's appointment be safe
The other nut Buster is going to a warehouse and they don't tell you got to bring pallets and it won't load you on your stuff on pallets and give you the palace unless you pay for the pallets or give them pallets and return that are in quality shape watch The Whole Trailer Load of canned tomato paste get slip seated under the floor because the company went paid for a pallets
Thanks for posting another great video, OTR. I had my doubts about sticking around but you persevered. That's some pretty country you're travelling through. Wish I could share some of the peaches I bought from McLeod Farms this week. They're bigger than a softball & so juicy I have to slice so I don't get juice all over me.
Bandit you need a gold metal for exposing the BS that so many of us drivers deal with. Hopefully good will come out of this video! As far as your health you may be going through withdrawals from quitting smoking and dieting. After watching this video I am grateful I sold my Truck two years ago, looking like nothing will ever change. Take care of yourself!!
You should pay it, $88 bucks how much did the load pay? 1/2 a loaf or glass of water is better than none, if you were gonna make $1500, 00 $1411.00 come on Man, I like your argument BUT! They were Loading you & you would have been in the wind, Now if you have plenty of money coming in from your TH-cam channel then yeaaaaaBABY frick the Load😅
Revenue collectors, revenue collectors everywhere! I had an anxiety attack from all the BS you need to go through with those shippers 🤬 They screw truck drivers over with all kind of fees, but nobody can charge them anything for making you wait all day to get loaded. I would not be able to handle that crap, so my hat is off for you Bandit. Should’ve known already seeing that first guard not even answering to you that this place will suck big time. But thanks for the ride again. People should have much more respect towards truck drivers. Until the next one! 💪
Thank you so much for your kind words, my friend. It really sucks to be a truck driver out here right now.. we are not treated very good at all unfortunately.
You are the only truck at the docks. You paid 88 dollars late fee, that should square you up as far as working you in. Pull out, close your doors and get the hell out of there. The broker and shipper are wasting your time. When the broker and shipper are bickering over 88 dollars you are dealing with the wrong kind of people. You aren’t that desperate, let them know that! 🖕brokers are as bad as politicians and lawyers! Oh yeah…….. Have a good day!👍👍
I should’ve just turned around at the gate when the lady said the appointment was for 6:30 AM originally. Which I knew nothing about. I booked a load at 9:30 AM and I was told to get there by 10:30. This place is definitely terrible and it is going on my do not go there list again.
Found your channel on my recommends slot. I like 👍🏻 what i see driver!! We have similar wild personalities!! 😂 keep up the good work. I subbed !! 💯💪👀 🚚
Yeah that off shoot of Tyson in Edwardsville is a piece of sh1t. I had to wait 12 hours there to get a trailer loaded. Only takes 30 minutes with fully load pallets for 44,000 lbs in 53"ft trailer. I told my dispatcher I need to talk to the owner of the company. And asked him why we were not getting layover pay? He asked how long I was there and said you will now. I'll make sure to pay you. As the dispatcher was going to sweep the sh1t under the rug and basically say FU. I never got a issue with $88.00 dollar late fee there. I was usually always 1 hour early since close to home and get sent there from the house empty or go to the Tyson plant south side of KC. Take care yourself.
I don't know if you have hypertension issues. If not, I think you're starting to develop high Blood Pressure and if that's the case you need to get it treated by getting on a pill that can help regulate it, it's called the silent killer and it starts attacking your kidneys first because of the blood flow. Your heart works harder to pump the blood throughout your body. The Blood Pressure medicine expands your veins so that the blood can flow freely through your body. These are the same characteristics that I went through when my Blood Pressure was out of whack and it was hell finding the right pill to help regulate it anyway. Always wishing you the best and no. I'm not a Doctor but it saddens me to see you go through this. But I wish you the best because you are a copy of me. I think like you. I react like you and I portrayed myself like you. So when I hear you and watch your videos, it reminds me so much of me. My personality. be safe, my good man. My good buddy
I think the late fee should go both ways. If the driver misses the appointment, pay the fee. now the shippers/ receivers should also pay a fee it takes them more than one hour to load/ unload your truck and get your paperwork.
I agree with that 100% but on this load, it is totally not my fault that I was late. I booked this load at 9:30 AM and was only told to be there by 10:30 AM. I had no idea that the original pick up appointment was scheduled for 6:30 AM.
@@OTRBandit I know it wasn't your fault, I watched your video. My point is to make both parties accountable. I've seen other drivers videos where they show up to a receiver before their appointment, to only get to a dock two hours after the appointment, and the receiver take hours after that to breakdown the product to count everything holding the trucker up when the truck arrived with the seal the shipper put on the trailer in tact. I could see the receiver hold a truck while they verified all the product was there if a truck showed up with the seal broken. But otherwise the driver did their job.
@@BS-Outdoors1320 There definitely needs to be more accountability for what these shippers and receivers are doing to us. Everything you just mentioned has happened to me many time, unfortunately. It’s always hurry up and wait.
u have to remember that your truck isn't the only thing going on with these companies.u may have other trucks ahead of u or the load may not be ready or space has to be made in order to unload it.i get your point but things go both ways
Late fees are pretty standard across the country. These professional brokers didnt think there would be a late fee? Or "didnt know"? Come on. 88 bucks isnt that much really, considering the money thats being generated in a transaction like this.
Sorry buddy. Ran f kin refer one month with cheese . People jerking me around one time.. wrapped a chain around pallets and tied to a light pole…. Dumped on ground and left. It will kill you . Safe travels…
I do like doing reefer, but I am kind of getting tired of this bull crap with cold storage places. I am delivering at the place right now where they do not allow drivers to use restrooms and they do not have porta potties either. If you have to use the restroom, you have to drop your trailer and drive 4 miles to truckstop and use it there.

Hate people like that. Keep on trucking bother, because at the end of the day, they will never understand the life of a trucker 🚛🚛👍

Great video. For the people that like this channel can I suggest another. A guy from Serbia hilariously narrates crashes from dash cam videos. His humor and accent are very much like this channel. It's called avch. I hope it's okay with you, OTRbandit, I think you'd like it. Cheers!
We have 3 hours to load you out once your truck hits the dock door. Now due to core safety mandates you have to dolly down your trailer and unhook your truck pullout and we glad hand lock your trailer. In defense of the warehouse there are times when things go wrong. Pallets get hung up or we have to pull damage off and replace it. Believe me, we don’t want you on our yard any longer than you have to be.
@@OTRBandit in a perfect world it wouldn’t take that long but most places now are so short handed and most the new hires don’t want to learn or work so your stuck. We also operated on a first come first serve basis. If you have 4 or 5 other outside carriers in front of you you’ll have to wait your turn. Also your trailer needs to be washed out since your last load and pre-cooled to 40. At my facility we check your trailer and if there is any in the back wood, plastic etc we make you go wash. USDA is big on food safety at my facility.
The black baby story? Reminded me of the older gentleman who married a young woman. Well the first year they had a baby. The attending doctor ask the man what was his secret? He replied well he keeps his motor running. We'll the next year they had another baby. Once again the doctor ask the gentleman what is his secret? Again he replied that he keeps his motor running. The doctor said we'll you need to change the oil in that motor. The new dad ask why the doctor replied the baby is black.

It’s criminal what some of these places are doing to us. It really is. It’s extortion in my opinion.
There all crooked 🤬
I definitely would not pay for that fee because it was not my fault that I was late. He never told me that the appointment was set for 6:30 AM.
Guy at the gate is no stranger to dunkin donuts 😅
@markvoina1764 -some of these drivers as well.i stopped eating those donuts just because I didn't want to be round
@@markvoina1764 Good one! I wasn't sure if I was gonna say something about him. Wow.

Your truck has great torque. How much boost does it have?
My gauge usually shows 25 on the boost when going up hill
Rosanna Rossanna Danna says, "It's ALWAYS something !!" LOL. 😅😅
They all lie, one dispatcher had me sitting next to him while he was lying to another Drive, than he looks at me and says ' Ooo I would never lie to you" yehhhrite😅
They definitely lie, my friend. All of them.
Keep on trucking!!!!! Take care of yourself and stay safe out there bro!!!!
Thank you so much, my friend.
Wow that was nuts Bandit. They are trying to to double dip on everything late fees and pallets!?!?! Glad you got out of there. Stay positive my friend!
They are trying to steal from us as much as they can. Trying to stay positive, my friend, but it’s very hard sometimes.
@@OTRBandit Looks like the receivers and revenue collectors are in cahoots with each other. They kind of makes it one-sided for the drivers……….

Charming bunch, those warehouse people. 🙄Skipped the day when personalities were installed. I'm a forklift operator. I can load a full trailer in 45 minutes depending on what it is... seems ridiculous they hold you hostage like this. What a shit show this operation is. Pathetic.
Some of these places are unbelievably slow. I will never understand why they order trucks to come in if product isn’t ready.
I use to work for a paper company and we could load or unload 15 pallets in 30 minutes. Even had to unload a truck by hand and that would take 4 hours. Crazy
There are places that are very fast, but also there are places that are super slow, unfortunately.

Only us truck drivers understand my friend. I always try to get there early and always like to deliver early if I can
I bet that company has a history of charging late fees, seems like a racket to screw truck drivers. The company has no ethics.
It’s a biggest scam ever.
Dealing with shippersloading n unloading issues would be the top issue of driving a truck. I commend you guys who have to deal with it day in day out. I couldnt deal with that bull shit
It’s one of the worst problems that this industry has to deal with. I hate places like this right here.
Revenue collecting companies LOL
That’s exactly what they are, my friend.
What a bunch of bs !!!
Sometimes i miss driving, but i definitely don't miss this bs part of trucking. Sorry you had to go through all that bs. I remember what it was like sometimes. But, "it is what it is" my friend.
Shippers and receivers are definitely the worst part of this job.
These brokers, shipping & receivers are full of 💩. It's ridiculous!
They are worse than politicians in my opinion

My favorite trucker on youtube, man. Honestly I don't even know how to talk to shippers like that. I'm either 0 or 100 with them, 100 hundred being yelling and cursing at them, so good job. 👍
Appreciate that brother. We should all act towards them the way they act towards us. We definitely shouldn’t let them walk all over us.
looks like a place that needs a surcharge for delivery for surprise billing.
Couldn’t have said it better myself, buddy. This is the worst part about Trucking right here.. shippers and receivers
I really enjoy watching your videos they make me really happy all the time and your videos are fantastic mate and keep up the good work and I have subscribed to your channel and I am watching from new Zealand 🇳🇿

I definitely should not stress out as much as I do, but unfortunately, I just can’t help it
The other nut Buster is going to a warehouse and they don't tell you got to bring pallets and it won't load you on your stuff on pallets and give you the palace unless you pay for the pallets or give them pallets and return that are in quality shape watch The Whole Trailer Load of canned tomato paste get slip seated under the floor because the company went paid for a pallets
Thank you very much, buddy. I love peaches. One of my favorite fruits.
Unfortunately, nothing will ever change out here for us. It will change, but only for the worst. Nothing ever changes for the better out here..
Some dude walked out of this wharehouse and told me 50 bucks and he will unload me faster like wtf
They are trying to make money off of us anyway they can
You are the only truck at the docks.

I should’ve just turned around at the gate when the lady said the appointment was for 6:30 AM originally. Which I knew nothing about. I booked a load at 9:30 AM and I was told to get there by 10:30. This place is definitely terrible and it is going on my do not go there list again.

This place was really bad, buddy. I don’t think I will ever be going back there again. It’s just not worth all the stress.

Dude your health issues have something to do with your stress level. You got sick when stressed. Good luck
I think it’s definitely stress related.

Late fees are pretty standard across the country. These professional brokers didnt think there would be a late fee? Or "didnt know"? Come on. 88 bucks isnt that much really, considering the money thats being generated in a transaction like this.
I definitely think he knew about the fees. He just didn’t think he has to pay one.
Good day Bandit I'm watching you again have a safe trip you sound like you are in a good mood interesting area scenery I don't think I will ever visit

Only flat RGN and step.

6:25 the type of guard shacks we gotta deal with not to mention shipping/receiving people. If you hate your job F off and get people that actually wanna work 😂😂😂😂. That vest was looking mighty small on big guy 😂😂😂
🤣🤣 I don’t think they make vests in his size. Maybe he was mad because it was cutting off circulation how tight it was.

These cold storage places definitely only care about the money. That’s why they take such a long time to load us and unload us
Greed is one of the biggest problems in the world, man. People will act all friendly and nice. But, when it comes to money. They are always fighting to be first in line to get their cut. Hate people like that. Keep on trucking bother, because at the end of the day, they will never understand the life of a trucker 🚛🚛👍

Three hours is better than five or six hours but still way too long in my opinion.
The third year came and once again the young woman and the older gentleman had another child. He told the doctor that his secret was that he kept that motor running. The doctor said we'll you need to change the oil in that motor. The new dad ask why the doctor replied the baby is black.
