I love singer-songwriters; however a good band is art at the highest order. The Beatles set the standard, the combination of song, performance, and production. Mixing in passion and dynamics with space between notes creates magic. I am 70 and seen many great bands back in the day. I saw Hendrix 3 times as a teenager along with Cream, Blind Faith, and Derek and the Dominos. Probably the pinnacle was The Allman Brothers in June of 71 with Dwane and Barry. Dawes is among the best out there today. When I first saw the tall 2nd guitar as a spitting image of Dicky Betts (a foot taller version) and came to understand his name was Dwayne, I shed a few tears. I saw Dawes once in Taos, it was special. There are other great bands today. Billy Strings band, Lake Street Dive, The Joe Ely Band, Storyville. The late Jimmy Lafave always had a crack band. Maybe the best ever was Dave Alvin and the Guilty Men before Cris Gaffney died. Thank you for this upload.
@@stevemiller1345 gotcha, I have heard it but cannot place it, keep thinking it is the end seque from one of their other songs. Now it is gonna bug the crap out if me lol. Best band going

I love the live versions of I Can’t Think About It Now! This audio is great and man, Taylor’s guitar tone is so sweet!
Saw you guys in Canada....Toronto. Everyone knew the lyrics to your songs-come back! Come back, please!
And come back to Australia also please! One day, when COVID allows...
@@hazy7 And don't forget the UK! In fact, fuck it book a cruise ship, and come pick up all of your fans on the way.
@@mikeb3552 The HMS Dawes haha

Thanks for sharing this, great video
Awesome!
they are good, hope to see them in Australia soon.
This album is 2022. And, 2022 is this album.
I had always wondered how "when the tequila runs out" sounded live, seemed like it would be a hard song to pull off but damn it sounded good!
wish we have LIVE soon
A Brother walks into a Bar. Right through the Thickets. Brothers behind - Ringing him on. Yee Haw Dawes!
Most prospectors can't play guitar this well. He's panning for gold on the fret-board and finding some serious nuggets consistently. #hatjoke
when was this actually from? They are clearly opening for someone... but they were headlining their own stuff by 2019.
@26:00 Taylor thanks Alabama Shakes (unfortunately broken up now) for bringing them around with them on tour.

I know exactly what it is! It’s the parade music from the film “Paprika”. If you look up “Susumu Hirasawa Parade” you’ll find it
@@bigace1024 wow... lol. Amazing. I cant believe someone knew. Thank you for letting me know.
How do they sound kinda like Bruce Springsteen but I like it…
