I hate mis-informing BS headlines and thumbnails. Not, "On fire with this one simple rig" is ok. It's cool. Just show the truth tell the truth. We're fishermen, we get it. We can't catch a limit of red snapper and red grouper every trip. I'm envious of your boat, is that a SH Gamefish 25?
Were you out of Steinhatchee? If so, I didn't realize 55miles out is 80 - 90 fow up there? 55 miles out in SWFL you're in 120 - 130Fow. I just always find it fascinating where guys fish/ travel to fish certain water depths in the Gulf. For instance around me, 125 fow is hands down better fishing than 80. But jeeez, how long a drive is 125' where you're at?

Sorry man if it was deceiving, I really don't want to be click baity so any feedback for the future I would greatly appreciate it.
This is a Sea Hunt Gamefish 25, 2020 is the year.
We fish out of Steinhatchee mainly so it's a good 55-60 miles to get into the depth of water we were fishing. Unfortunately all of the good fish are pretty deep this year I imagine due to the heat. To get into 125' it's about a 80 mile one way trip out of Steinhatchee.

@@NickeeGee Wow, so 125ish fow is approximately 3 hrs for ya'll. Which I assume is probably the middle grounds? Ya have the fuel with 144 gal. But it becomes is it worth the time/drive. Off Boca Grande we can catch big red grouper in 125fow and that's 55 miles. I love SWFL But if i didn't say I'm envious of the east coast guys short drives to deep water or the great fishing in the Keys I'd be lying. Love your videos! Thanks for sharing.
